I just installed this last week. Instead of running two VBS scripts I tweaked the BAT file to actually pull it down twice. Once for the 32-Bit and once for the 64-Bit. Thanks for sharing.
Further to my comment. I have now recovered my DOF vpuniverse account. I used a VPN to say I was in the USA and then requested a password reset and it worked I hope this helps others.
This friday couldnt be better! All this solved my issues with "ingame leds" not working! Now everything works perfekt and i can start rip everything out and begin with sanding and paint.... Emil, you are a hero! This gave me new energy! Keep up the good work. I also have a kinnect lying around waiting for installation, but first sand and paint 😐
Sweet! Glad I could help you! You must have had some new tables on an older config eh? Good luck with your sanding and painting! Thanks for the watch and your support for the channel! Cheers Johan!
@@wayofthewrench Not really sure why it didnt work. Tried alot for many many hours before this video and was tired of it so you can understand you made my friday night :-)
Love these short videos on tweaks to keeping things up to date. I hear there is a way to remotely update new games (or new versions) to your vpin? Could be a fun topic... Always watching for your latest videos - great stuff!
Glad you're enjoying the series! Yeah I believe it's called vpstudio. I still have to look into it and maybe make a video. Thanks for the watch and your support for the channel. Cheers Scott!
Where did you get your wide body cab wood working plans? I'm looking for a detailed set of build schematics with dimensions, hole placement, etc.... thanks!!!
In the video description for my earlier build videos is a link for my pdf plans. Let me know if you build my vpin plans! Thanks for the watch and welcome to the channel!
you dont have to add it into the 64bit folder just add this under the the direct output folder bat . SET LCP_VPTABLEPATH=C:\DirectOutput SET LCP_VPTABLEPATH=C:\DirectOutputx64
hi i have an urgent unrelated question, whenever i turn left and accelerate at the same time the car subtly wobbles/vibrates. but if i just coast into the left turn without accelerating its smooth. there's no weird sound when it happens at all. at first i thought the wheel was loose but so i got a wheel balance and alignment but it didn't fix the problem. any ideas? your input would honestly make my day
Sounds like maybe it's a CV axle. Try finding an empty parking lot and come to a stop. Turn the steering wheel fully to the left and drive in a circle. Listen for clunking. Then stop and turn all the way to the right and drive in a circle. Listen for clunking. Then do the same thing but in reverse both directions. Any clunking speed dependent sounds are CV axle joints. Try this and let me know. If I was able to help you out, I'd really appreciate it if you could share out my channel on your social media so I can help more people. Cheers!
Just clicked to watch this, I have a question: Now that you have all your hardware in place, SSF, solenoids, LEDs, shaker motor etc. When you add a table, is the table's script already written to utilize the software that controls all of the above "toys" you have in your cabinet? Maybe a future video explaining that. Ok, now to watch your video. ;)
Yes, all of the toys are listed in my DOF config file and those toys are used in any table you download. The table tells DOF that you want the flipper to be used and it consults your config file to fire off your toy that you are using for flippers ( ssf or solenoids or both). Hope that helps. Thanks for the watch!
This is awesome, and Im pretty sure its working great on my system. I do have 1 question though. It appears that every time it runs, it creates a zip file in the directoutput directories. I ran it 2 times. once at 5:17pm, noticed my files were perfect. My config files were dated todays date at 5:17pm. As a test, I then removed the config files, and rebooted my machine at 5:25pm.. Now, in both my directories, I have a ZIP file dated with todays date, at 5:25pm. But - the config files, which were in the right place, were still dated at 5:17pm, and the ZIP file itself which was dated 5:25pm when opened showed files from 5:17pm. I know - it works, why knock it - but my question is will this continuously put zip files in that directory which need to be cleaned up every once ina while (and if not needed, perhaps I will have the deleted by the same .bat file) and can the update be done only once a day? Im curious about why I did not receive a new config file dated at 5:25pm. Hope you can understand my rambling, and in either case, its working so no big deal.
Hrmmmm, my guess is that the file is logged and saved elsewhere in maybe a log file so that it doesn't change/update the file if it hasn't changed. Thanks for the watch and your support for the channel! Cheers!
