Hey! You figured out my masterplan to get rich lmao But seriously, the physical dmg bows are super expensive and the cultist bows can be OK for cheap. I was also learning a lot about poison and the game as a whole and ended up changing the build to be physical based. I got a ~400pdps bow for like 85ex and pretty much doubled my damage. Made a new video of my CRUISING through a t15 and doing the map boss too.
Yessir! Working on it! Just learned some tech that sorts out the defense. Will probably morph the build into poison concoction based on this. Not sure yet.
@williamsdmonk I agree. I looked back at it. I'm not frequently fighting stuff long enough to get any significant number of stacks. Maybe later on in end game I'll snag those nodes. Or maybe sooner. Idk 😀
Nice guide, got two questions for you: 1. I see a lot of pathfinders going scatter shot on the poison gas arrow. I’ve tried it myself and it seems pretty nice for instantly stacking 3 poisons on enemies, plus giving you a bigger AoE to work with. Any particular reason you’re not taking it? 2. Was Deterioration just too far away on the skill tree to make work? I’ve currently got it, but I really like your idea of going for lucidity for additional defenses. I’m only on tier 4 maps but I’ve been at a bit of a loss for how to build more defensive layers - I’m stealing that one!
@granthorner2789 Appreciate the comment! Glad to share some defense haha! I like having the increased skill duration > scattershot! I'll for sure give scattershot a try, again, though. But the thinking was that Gas Arrow is fairly cheap to spam and I want the ability to still hit hard to break armor, apply plague and pop Toxic spores on the floor.
It's much better without the cultist bow. The current updated version of the build uses a pure physical bow. This video has outdated info but the link to the build will be updated.

Hi Nathan, i have one question bro, if you have a bow with no chaos damage is useful use the ring with chaos damage increase or not?, i ask that, because i have a bow with a lot physical damage and with dualstring, and that bow dont have chaos damage.
I recently swapped to a fully physical bow too. Chaos damage increases are not worth it. I completely changed my passive tree because of it. I'll have to make a totally new vid and update the build guide... probably today :)
@@Sejigonza_ Those gloves might be useful. It's REALLY hard to know without doing some serious math (that i dont understand). It would allow you to stack different types of flat elemental damage and scale damage in that way. I think the snakebite are the obvious choice because +2 poisons is pretty big.
Hey, thanks for the guide. Got a couple questions if you don't mind my asking, mostly about minmaxing Toxic Growth damage. 1. Chaos Infusion support gives 25% damage as chaos, but reduces all other sources by 50%. I have a pure phys bow atm, and my damage with that support goes down (according to the game tooltip). On the other hand you have a chaos bow, could you tell how much damage does this support give in your setup? 2. Related to the previous one, I was starting to look into other supports for Toxic Growth. Do you know if Conc Effect gives damage to it? The tooltip doesn't go up, so assume AoE damage does not affect poison. BUT if you put Conc Effect for Gas Arrow, its damage goes up! Confusing... Tested it on a big monkey in act 3 Cruel, and it *feels* like the damage is higher with Conc Effect. But maybe it's cause explosions are just doing more damage, not poison itself. Would like to know if you have any knowledge about it. Also Inspiration linked in Despair seems to help a bit with how mana hungry curses are in the game. Great build overall, looking forward to push it to the red maps.

Something to consider (though not relevant since armor break is super easy) is that physical damage will be mitigated by an enemy's armor and chaos will not. I was super curious about testing a good pure phys bow but what I'm doing is SUPER budget still haha. 2. I don't have info on this as I'm a tooltip reader also lol. I was hoping to find out more about it. I'm inclined to believe the only aspect of Toxic Growth the Conc Effect changes is just the radius. The inspiration on curse is a great idea too. I might drop something for it. I'm not really casting it enough to have it impact my mana consistently so I'm hesitant to worry about it for now. Thanks again! Yo, im a noob but i was thinking could this work: tornado arrow -> toxic growth inside the tornado to spread it everywhere -> big boom plague nova to detonate the whole screen, with gas arrow main damage . This in my head sounds so cool but im a noob, what do u think?
@zackariahp1873 It's a cool idea and would work. I don't have the gem sockets for it and I don't want to put a tornado down too often though. On indoor maps or close quarters it would be really bad, sadly. Also it lowers the dmg of any proj going into the tornado so the poison wouldn't be too strong.
@@Jelbishimm, I'm currently doing the gas arrow single button build where you only use gas arrow and it's chill but it's kinda boring. After seeing your big boom plague Nova work, I'm gonna try re spec completely. Explosion = fun.

@bnybhhd I tried A LOT of different things! I used Poison Burst Arrow until I got Gas Arrow though.
