South Beach State Campground - Part 1

Enjoying our annual Knight family campout for 2024. This year we headed out to South Beach State Park Campground in Newport Oregon.
It is a great time to catch up with family that we don't get a chance to see much with our busy lives. This year we chose South Beach State Park in south Newport Oregon for the trip.
The campground is a large one with many sites to choose from. Of course with the uptick in camping reservations it was difficult to get several sites next to each other but we managed.
The campground has many amenities such as bathroom/showers, large grassy areas for playing frisbee or a game of catch, to electric and water at your campsite to a full dump station near the entrance too.
There are also miles of paved hiking/biking trails and the main north to south trail will take you into Newport if you wish. Plenty to do in the area and just a great time to relax and catch up with family.
