capcom literally threw everything at this character which has made him into one of the best characters they’ve ever created. Those innocent eyes in re2 are lost to the world of resident evil. Had his survival instincts tested in raccoon city, his strength tested by Krauser and his heart tested by Ada - though.. she also was tested herself - it’s good to see that part of them hasn’t been entirely lost
This edit made me realize something about his eyes. In 2, he feels alive, there is a soul in his eyes, in 4, he seems dead, tired, like he hasn’t slept for a while, maybe because of nightmares of Racoon City. I will always love OG RE 4 Leon for it’s wits and attitude but the remakes really fleshed out his character.
In Resident evil 4 remake there's an achievment called "Who's the rookie now?" When fighting Krauser, you need to parry him 5 times consecutively with the knife, love this one!
