Exquisite explanation of this station of the cross. You are in fact correct. Baptized into the Catholic Religion over 20 yrs ago… but in all my life (52 yrs) I do not recall hearing about His shoulder wounds. I am moved to the core by your description of Mary meeting eyes with her Son. I have four grown children of my own. Bless you, and thank you for this very heartfelt description of our Saviour’s and His Blessed Mother Mary’s experience of sorrow. 🙏
