Whoa Nelley, don't be a fool, grab all the tools. Some of the Craftsman locking pliers were actually made by Petersen DeWitt for a time, I have some. That was the actual "Vice Grip" brand. Others were made by the Adjustable Clamp Company (I have some of those too). Mine are made in the USA. That Craftsman tote box was made by Waterloo Industries for Sears. I have several of them, including the original one (with paperwork) that my Dad bought in 1979 from our local Sears (which closed in 2019).
Today's find was a free, never used, never turned on 1984 vintage made in USA by Actron for Sears Craftsman model #161.210400 engine analyzer. Missing only the manual, and I found it online in five minutes time, so now it's complete.
Yes, Whitesboro is a high school located at 1 Bearcat Dr, Whitesboro, TX 76273, and yes the Bearcats are their team name. No VIN on the OBS, we don't win, no tag, we can't brag. No SPID, wish we did. Sportscoach of America was located in Van Nuys, CA. They were bought out some time later: www.samstoybox.com/teardrop/chevallero/literature/
B&M, of B&M shifter fame, apparently had a handle in them for a time. That's a California certification plate that I'm sure was required for the unit to be sold in CA, and that it was in compliance with mobile home codes. My kitchen still has the functioning 1968 appliances in it, the wall oven and cooktop are Magic Chef which is owned by Maytag now. I've fixed them a few times over the years, nothing major and they have never been serviced by anyone other than my dad or me. Most functional parts are still available from WLP, so I'll keep them going for a while longer, and continue to fix them myself as the need arises. The dishwasher is a 2018 Whirlpool made Kenmore that replaced a 1987 Whirlpool made Kenmore, which I would have kept going if the tub didn't rot out. Both were made in Findlay, OH which is one of the largest dishwasher plants of its kind. The new one is stainless inside and I got it at Sears six months before they closed, a $700 unit for $286 out the door, brand new in the box and a relative and I installed it in April 2019. Yes, that's vintage indeed. That fridge looks old, they haven't made colors like that in some time.
This is a 1970 "P Series" Chevrolet chassis, known as the "Forward Control" chassis. GM supplied (depending on the specific model) either just a chassis and running gear or the chassis, running gear and forward cowl (which this one seems to be). We got the VIN, we win: P for Forward Control Chassis, E for V8 gas engine, 3 for 1 ton rating, 2 for Chassis Cowl, 0 for 1970 model year, J for Janesville, WI assembly and the rest is the production sequence. I think you could get a 350 small block or a 454 big block in these in 1970 originally.
Whoa Nelley, it's an OBS and it's a mess. SCA? No way. A Chevallero is an odd duck indeed, this one is in dire need. The VIN gets the win, the tag gets the brag. Going to be flat and that's that. That's it, time to quit. Off the road in 1991, it's done. Going to get squished and no one is really too pissed.

Wowzers that OBS shorty with bucket seats had a cool paint job.
Whoever had it at high school definitely had one of the nicer cars amongst all the Honda CRVs and Volkswagen Jettas you'd see in high school lol.
Wonder why it's there in the first place and why it's been flipped??? It's clearly been loved. Maybe got in a wreck? Bad tranny??
Anyways, I'd ask about the GE oven from the RV, it's in good condition and not rusted. I know it'll work! Also I'd get the License plates. Those are vintage and I'm pretty sure Cowboy would want them haha

I wound up with a bunch of NOS parts for these in the past month. Wheels, fender liners, rear glass for square bodies, etc. Free tools are good. I just bought a bunch of large wrenches from 15/16 to 1-5/16, mostly Craftsman USA, including a 1/2 inch breaker bar for $30.

Some kind of cover on the gauge cluster, too.
I think I'd run those Chevallero badges just to fake people out.
Nose on the camper reminds me of the P30 vans, they made that way for years. CB would be a good pull if it's cheap, people seem to be buying those now, at least when they hit my yard they're one of the fastest things to vanish. I agree, the little oven is cool. Somebody restoring a camper might want that, but what a pain to move and store it.

Nice RV. I would have definitely grabbed the badges even if one was broken.
The owner of that obs must've hated money. The market is so hot on those trucks he basically took pennies on the dollar sending it to the yard. The majority of the damage appears to be yard damage. Good score on the wheels.

Trying to decide if I want 454SS wheels, the steelies I have now or a set of 2000 Tahoe Limited Ronal R36 wheels for my '89 TPI GMC Stepside. Or if I should just sell it since the 700r4 went again and my husband doesn't really want to fix it. He'd convert it to a 6 speed if i could drive it but it's my truck and I need an automatic due to disabilities.

@@googleusergp I bought a 93 P30 for a storage van years ago and the nose looks just like that, they didn't change much for a long time. In fact a shorty came up for auction a few months ago, they claimed they couldn't get it aligned because they couldn't find control arms and I don't understand why because they interchange with about 20 years worth of pickups.

@@googleusergp By the way, I went back today and filmed the trim tag on that 1980 bonneville. Have to see how it came out but I also called it out. I may post it separate and I may tack it on the other video and re-upload.
The sunroof assembly looks like it would unbolt as a unit pretty easily and cost me around $50-ish. Glass is broke and it has a couple rot spots though. No idea if I should grab it or not. I think it's too big to easily ship anywhere. I could put it in my van maybe but if the glass isn't flat not sure where you find a replacement, plus it has multiple drains I'd have to route.
