    1:52:31 super excited!
Awesome podcast. Love the chocolate transparency 😂 everyone have been doing what to others obviously stupid things and learned from that early in their career. Me included. But the ones that want to be the best they can be learn from it. Keep up the good work everybody 😎

Love Jacqui 🤩! Thanks so much for doing this. Ivan, have you ever had or tried to get Corinne Wrend on a podcast? She's a UK IGP competitor and i believe she trains R+ only.

I’ve been to one of corrine’s workshops and she says she respects what Ivan does. 😊

@possummilk2971 That's good to hear, thanks. I wondered if she'd be open to talking to Ivan, I think it would be an interesting conversion.

I am someone who found this discussion because I am researching dog training methods for a new puppy. I am very green about this subject, having had just 3 dogs over 6 decades of life. So, I guess I am not the usual demographic for these podcasts. But, I am dismayed that there is so little consensus about the subject, and further dismayed that there is so much polarisation of view points. Dogs have been living with and working for humans for thousands of years how can it be that we haven’t yet learned how to form a reliable set of guidelines for training and dealing with behavioural problems! So many millions of ordinary dog owners would just enjoy peace of mind if the experts to come to some kind of agreement. My brain is hurting trying to figure out who is right

About 25 years ago we lost the plot and started making up fantasy island bull shit around dog training. Like all lessons learned in nature you make it really good when there good and you make it bad when there bad ... and you end up with a dog that's good more than their bad.

It's realy no different than all the different child raising beliefs, theorists etc. No child or dog are the same so their can be no one size fits all aproach.
