I haven't seen a video in a while but I'm back watching. Been really busy with many things. Very glad to see that your viewership has gone way up. And the strong team is still in place. Husband and wife and helpers. 100% respect the knowledge and ability to do very difficult projects that people don't realize until they would try it themselves.
WOW!!! Very impressive. Everything against you and you battled through... Your wife is a beast to stick right along side you on that pour.. & your laborer to just keep going and doing what he could to help succeed... That's awesome.
That was some amazing work for just 3 people! I definitely wasn’t expecting all those pours in one day but you definitely got it done. It’s nice to see Chelsey and Luke learning more and more each video!
We have all been there. Excellent SOP. Great team! Hard to find but you have!!! Mad love and respect... These are the ones that teach you more than what there worth...lol. But lesson will last a lifetime. I felt your pain. Great Job!!!
Man I know the feelings you went through on this one. From the very start of the pour I was just itching to come through the screen and give you a hand. Nice work!!
Haha I know that feeling as well. Us concrete guys have a that itch. Even when I'm driving my on the highway or on vacation, I wanna stop what I'm doing and go pull some mud. Maybe there's something in the concrete that changes us lol
This video gave me anxiety and I’ve never poured concrete in my life lol. You deserve every ounce of success you’ve got coming your way my man!!! Those leaves alone would’ve had me balled up in a corner crying 😂😂😂 Much respect
Brother, you are crazy! Thank you for taking the time to even film this with all the stress of doing this in a 3 person team! Me and my dad think you and the team are awesome for what we just watched! Unbelievable
Likewise man. Make sure to drink a lot of water and stretch daily. Two things old timers disregard but are crucial for lasting a long time in the business
What a pita those leaves were. And what a big job for so few of you. Loved the railway sleeper wall as it looked real sharp. Well done, tough day for all. Wish I could have helped 🤣👍
You guy’s rock, I’m a painting contractor and I see crews 4-6 people doing new construction pours like this and are nowhere as efficient as you . Nice work!
That was one of the craziest jobs I’ve seen on TH-cam 😂. How many more things could you have working against you? The leaves were getting out of hand, when you looked from the side the slope was unbelievable and having to keep pushing the buggy up were only the big obstacles. Total respect for you, the wife and the helper, everyone was trying and definitely earned their check on this job. You don’t need to many jobs like this one in a season without more help. 👍👍
I cannot believe I just watched 3 people finish all that flat work. I once lost a pour in my lifetime and it’s a terrible feeling ripping out fresh concrete to re pour so watching this video was so vivid and nerve wracking. Good job brother keep up the good work. Need to do a collaboration with Ryan from victory soon.
Outstanding! My anxiety was building from the beginning and when the buggy wouldn’t go in the rock I was losing it for you 😂you guys did great but you were very patient and smooth, smooth is fast 💪much respect
I think it’s awsome your wife works right there with you earning that money. I bet it prevents her from ordering Amazon packages daily. She appreciates hard earned money. lol. Great job!! You guys killed it.
I would buy you guys a case of beer if I were near you for that one man. Kudos to you and your team. That made my guts hurt for y'all and all that pulling you did. Great job
I’m very impressed. I don’t remember you specifically saying anything how many yards of concrete that was but it had to been over 10 yards plus with just two people and a third helper I just got done doing a 10 yard patio with footers for a deck and we had eight people, and I felt like I was constantly behind the concrete so kudos to you good job!!!
Your heartbeats must have been racing. Impressive job. Most would have had an 8-10 man crew. What the three of you accomplished is nothing short of spectacular.
This is nothing short of ridiculous. This is a 5 man job 3 finishers 2 laborers. That dude is slow af ok the buggy. The first 2 backyard pads ya poured are rock hard by the time you were done with the driveway so how do you edge & mag hard concrete?……burn the hell out of it
Are you a professional concrete guy or a couch potato finisher Nicklauski? Come on dude. Give credit where credit is due unless I misunderstood your comment. I’m older these days and not as sharp as I used to be. If I misunderstood your comment, I apologise in advance. If I can provide a constructive criticism? Perhaps this job would have been easier with a pump hose taking into account the steepness of the driveway? Regardless still impressive Nicklauski. Are you of the mindset of that west coast guy who criticises everyone of how he is greater than everyone else?
Concrete work is well worth the price of paying a professional for. Not just anybody can do it or should do it. Can I do it yes, should I do it, hell no.
Been there, done that. I've pulled so much concrete that when I started my own company, I never touched another rake unless I was washing it off or throwing it on the trailer.
That’s insane to do that all in one pour with 2 1/2 guys. Striking it off uphill man I felt that in my back haha. Happy the season is over though. Great work as usual
@ the owner is the only one with experience. The young kid is learning and he’ll get it, it just takes time. Not trying to knock his crew or anything, but I get it, very hard to find people to do concrete especially in the northern Midwest. Props to his patience though I’d be screaming at everyone and the leaves!
Good show pal ' that is what you call hard graft (laying up hill) ' had a few of them myself over the years ' big shout out to you missis and labourer all the best from the uk 👍
Wow, it turned out great! I thought it might set up too quickly on the driveway. Take it from an old retired guy who used to love working hard like that too, take it easy, and hire more people. You can't put a price on your health.
All three of you kick some ass including your wife or girlfriend or employee. Whoever she was. I'm not sure yet. Kudos to her, especially for hanging in there and such a hard job. I'm very proud of you guys
Big job for 3 people well done! Can i give you a small bit of advice 1 concreter to another you should use the rolled edge of the screed on your outward push to help close up the surface as your working back helps a lot later on!
That was hard to watch. But much respect to the ability of you and your crew. I just watched a 2,600 sf house pour with 15 workers and a pump truck. It was 61 yards.
I went to watch this, but I have a big job tomorrow chipping out concrete and pouring the next day. I don't think I can watch so I don't get stressed out myself haha. Maybe in a few days. Love the channel
Awesome job, 3 people doing the work of 8 people at the least. Your back and legs are going to do some serious complaining tonight i would imagine. Then there's the stress of getting it done before the concrete sets up, the leaves, probably no time for lunch, will the buggy make it through the day, sounds kinda rough. I hope not all your jobs are like this,it would put you in a early grave. Hats off to your team, they earned their money today and your respect. Good video, gave me a sore back just watching. 🙂.
Your a beast bro. 30 something year mason. I do a lot of brick, block, and stone, but a good amount of crete. This was a lot to pull. Great job. Subbed!
Concrete waits for no one! The moment it arrives you have to have your Big Boy pants on, suck it up and get it done. Only other option is to not get paid, or look at the results for years to come if it's you're own property.
Did you use geo grid on the timber wall or just dead men? Also i can only imagine your frustration withcthe leaves falling. I wasn't even there and I was annoyed with them lol. Nice work!!!
Dead men and 4-5’ rebar driving the deadmen down to the existing clay. Figured with the entire bays filled with clean stone it should drain and not put any pressure. There’s also a drain tile network behind the wall
Just screed through the leaves mate, any that are close enough to the service to be a problem will pop up when you float. Also a tip for your ableflex (brand of foam expansion joint we use here in AU) i use small dabs of silicon every 1ft, when you get to a corner just bend it around your trowel and it forms a nice 90 degree bend, works a treat. Impressive poor with the conditions and limited crew!
On your last broom pull you're supposed to say "Easy Money!" Nice work. Three person crew pulled off a real miracle.
I need the day off tomorrow after watching this.
All I can say is WOW! Thank you for your efforts, knowledge and skill! What a team. I will always appreciate those in the trades.
Thanks! It was a battle for sure
Girls like her do not exist ever since the internet began, the smart phone made things so much worse. She's quite the keeper...
That was some amazing work for just 3 people! I definitely wasn’t expecting all those pours in one day but you definitely got it done. It’s nice to see Chelsey and Luke learning more and more each video!
Thanks! It was a tough one. Yep, they’re improving every day. Proud boss after watching them grind right along with me on that job
We have all been there. Excellent SOP. Great team! Hard to find but you have!!! Mad love and respect... These are the ones that teach you more than what there worth...lol. But lesson will last a lifetime. I felt your pain. Great Job!!!
Thanks brother!

What a Beast!
My hat off to you, Sir. I don’t know many who would have tried that with only 3 people.
Thank you for the nail biting experience.
👍
This video gave me anxiety and I’ve never poured concrete in my life lol. You deserve every ounce of success you’ve got coming your way my man!!! Those leaves alone would’ve had me balled up in a corner crying 😂😂😂 Much respect
😂👍🏼
You should do an interview of Chelsey, I find it very interesting to see a wife of a construction guy get in there and get after it like she does.
We plan on it later this winter! If people are interested we might do a Christmas Q&A
Cool idea, would like to know more about the crew.
Power couple
Bump on this - yall rock
Wow, your crew is phenomenal is all I can say. But your work ethic is unbelievable.
Thank you, I really appreciate that and will let them know!
That was awesome. I can't even imagine the toll on your body. That job was a victory in the extreme. I'd love to see it after the spring.
❤ 💯 👍
Man those leaves were not letting up, turned out 10/10 you legend!
Brother, you are crazy! Thank you for taking the time to even film this with all the stress of doing this in a 3 person team! Me and my dad think you and the team are awesome for what we just watched! Unbelievable
P.s, we are from England and we never deal with this much concrete so it was cool to see it !
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed. It was a lot of work to continue filming with so many things going wrong. Merry Christmas!
What a beast of a pour , you are an amazing finisher, respect 😁
18 year NW Ohio finisher. Well done.
NEVER give up
Likewise man. Make sure to drink a lot of water and stretch daily. Two things old timers disregard but are crucial for lasting a long time in the business

You really kept your composure throughout, I was stressing for you, but you guys really pulled if off, great work
BEST CONCRETE VIDEO OF 2024 FOR REAL!! You're a badass bro!! keep up the great work!! 🦾😤
Thanks brother 💪🏼🇺🇸 I appreciate that. Big things coming in 2025
Brutal! You folks earned your money today. Nice job.
Thank you! Brutal is a good way to put it lol
The old adage "concrete waits for no one". Hope it paid well, because you earned it!
dude that was insane, but you powered through--- good on you and the crew---wow!!!!!
Thanks Frank!
Damn!!! That is amazing!!! Great job you 3 on tackling the massive pour 💪💪
Thanks brother 🤘🏼
Irish concrete finisher here.very good team effort.well done. Small crews work best
Thanks man!
Very impressive! This would have been a full job for the whole victory crew and you guys handled it like champs.
Thanks man👍🏻
Nothing but respect darn I'm tired just watching this video
That was one of the craziest jobs I’ve seen on TH-cam 😂. How many more things could you have working against you? Yeah it was a Murphy’s law kind of day. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for your video show , proud of you and your daughter and son , god bless you and TH-cam I can get so many lesson study today.
Everyday in Australia.
Great job!.....even Ryan from Victory would be impressed!!
Ryan would be pissed hardly any reinforcement n no dowels in the foundation no base gravel but I get it when you’re the only one running around
wow! high quality work! great skilled crew! absolutely outstanding working against some obstacles!
Thank ya!
Outstanding! My anxiety was building from the beginning and when the buggy wouldn’t go in the rock I was losing it for you 😂you guys did great but you were very patient and smooth, smooth is fast 💪much respect
Thanks brother 🤘🏼 it was a tough one for sure!
Great team effort!! Im sure you we're all knackered after!
I know those days very well. No fun.
Great job, your amazing!
That lad on the dumper is worth his weight in gold.
I never do concrete when leaves are falling. But, I know scheduling jobs is hard and mother nature comes fast.
Yep, that tree honestly didn't drop a single leaf until the day we showed up to pour.
I think it’s awsome your wife works right there with you earning that money. I bet it prevents her from ordering Amazon packages daily. She appreciates hard earned money. lol. Great job!! You guys killed it.
😂👍🏻
I would buy you guys a case of beer if I were near you for that one man. Kudos to you and your team. That made my guts hurt for y'all and all that pulling you did. Great job
Haha thanks man!
I love that timber. Looks great. I've done driveways with even steeper grades but a lot more help! Good work bro!
Thanks man!
I know money is tight, but three people on that job was asking for it. Anyway, hats off to you.
Your wife or daughter is a badass worker, not one complaint.
Wife and she sure is!
34:19 totally giving Call of Duty vibes of being revived. Great edit on this video
Got to give credit to that buggy driver, he was on point.
Beast bro love the hustle you remind me of myself. Young buck with a lot of heart no quit game. Michigan too 💯
Awesome work!!
Fantastic job keeping your cool on that one.
It was not easy 😅
I’m getting anxious watching this video.. then that damn buggy… the leaves….🤯🔨
Thank you Joe! This job was 18 yards
the leaves were giving me anxiety, likely not sleeping much tonight, that was brutal!
Honestly respects man good work 🫡
👍🏻
Nice work man it really is an art form getting that concrete laid properly
Thanks you, yep that’s one of the many reasons I enjoy it. Each job is its own piece of art
Great job
Man that was some hard work people that do concrete know how hard that was for 3 people great job
Thanks!
Your little machine is a lifesaver. I like it good work, buddy.
Thanks Mike!
Thats just crazy the slope that lead INTO the house. I would have ran from buying that one. But i'am sure they had a reason to buy it. Nice job mate!
Great work, I thought that was going to end in tears
Thank you! It was close a few times haha
Your heartbeats must have been racing. Impressive job. Most would have had an 8-10 man crew. What the three of you accomplished is nothing short of spectacular.

@ professional. Graduated high school in 2005 and have worked for a masonry contractor since

Yup. Fall sucks when pouring outside. Nice job man.
nice hustle. been there brother more times than i than i would like to admit.
That’s insane to do that all in one pour with 2 1/2 guys. Striking it off uphill man I felt that in my back haha. Happy the season is over though. Great work as usual
Thanks brother!

RESPECT TO YOU 2 DOING THIS,
That was hard to watch. But much respect to the ability of you and your crew. I just watched a 2,600 sf house pour with 15 workers and a pump truck. It was 61 yards.
Thank you! Yep the more hands the easier it is for sure.
I went to watch this, but I have a big job tomorrow chipping out concrete and pouring the next day. I don't think I can watch so I don't get stressed out myself haha. Maybe in a few days. Love the channel
Haha yep save it for after. It made my back hurt just editing it😂
One men army for real big job for a small crew keep grinding bro good work 🎯🫡🍺
Thank you sir!💪🏼

Handle the pour with class
Leaves in the concrete as you pour is tough! Blower is a life saver
Man, I had to take two days off to recuperate after just watching that! We’ll done.
Thanks man!
i love concrete. you got guts for trying that. hell id have given you guys a hand. boss says each finisher should be able to handle 10yds. you did 18
Omg, I was stressing the whole time. It was flight or flight I’m sure. Thank God you did it, whew.
Concrete waits for no one! The moment it arrives you have to have your Big Boy pants on, suck it up and get it done. Only other option is to not get paid, or look at the results for years to come if it's you're own property.
At least you figured out the easy way to get the buggy back up that hill..
Impressive.
Nice work! You're a machine... That gets a follow.
Thanks Mark!
Good job
Mammoth effort mate…especially for 2 people till mud went down 💪🏻
Thanks brother 👍🏻
Did you use geo grid on the timber wall or just dead men? Also i can only imagine your frustration withcthe leaves falling. I wasn't even there and I was annoyed with them lol. Nice work!!!

Respect , pro level
Thanks man!
Great job! You busted your ass! This was very impressive to watch. Very much enjoyed watching.
Thanks Wayne!
Holy Hell man what a days work looks amazing
Thanks brother!
