- Welcome ladies and gentleman to my Gates Of Hell Ostfront dynamic conquest series , in the series we will take control of the Soviet Red Army forces and attempt to repel and ultimately stop Operation Barbarossa .Day 12 has begun and we must hold the line against the superior German forces its do or die now comrades .

Unfortunately, basically all Soviet 76.2mm guns, whether it be tank guns, AT guns, or artillery/howitzer/field guns all the use the same shell dimensions, the 76.2 x 385, as the Soviets wanted to be able to use the large Tsarist stockpiles of that shell left over from WW1, as well as all of the production facilities, so this means that even when you get a long barrelled 76.2mm gun, which is of course still better due to the extra barrel length granting a higher velocity and thus greater penetration, the gun is still being held back by the relatively little amount of charge in the short shell. One of the few exceptions to this is the Flak 76 mm Air Defense gun M1938, which has an L/55 gun using the 76.2 x 558 shell, which has considerably more propellant than usual.

Good vid as always! Random question, do the US pioneers have a bug where they randomly explode by just moving around the map? First time I played as US and noticed it yesterday. Got my blood boiling for sure. Keep up the good work!

They do some good work in the series but you'll see it goes from good to bad many times haha
