It is always a joy to wake up and have coffee while watching one of your inspirational videos. My husband and I really enjoyed this one. It brought back a few memories of his from being a younger man and helping his family on their family owned farm. He was the first in his family to not follow the footsteps and have a farm of his own. Instead, he went in an educational route and ended up working in a different industry. However, seeing this video triggered some of his memories with his father and brother so thank you. I do not know if you realize how much of a blessing you are to each and every person who watches your channel and something is simple as going to this museum you brought about memories from my husbands youth, and because he has lost his father this was very meaningful
When I visited the School of the Ozarks, I was able to visit this museum and young lady you did it proud! This was an incredible look inside at the work put into each of these to restore them. Great video Bunny.
Really enjoy how you highlight each location you visit and bring us into them for the history and also the education. I appreciate that your dad was along for this one and I have heard you credit your parents many times for your love for travel and history through the historic markers you viewed together when you were a child. A solid foundation laid by your parents now is helping each and every one of us as you teach us all in such an interesting way. Also, I would like to compliment the unique nature of your sunglasses. They are very fitting.
Wow brought back memories of my grandparents working farm. I learned how to drive a tractor when I was 11. My grandfather mowed the road from Noti Oregon to Florence Oregon with his team of horses.
What a cool memory!! Thank you so much for sharing this!!! I appreciate how something as simple as a museum can bring up these memories for us all and teach us something about ourselves in the past that we might not think about all the time!! Thank you for sharing this!!
Back to the brain wrinkles. Our fearless museum leader has taken us on another digital field trip. I think I might have to go to Branson one of these days.
I love these sunglasses. I have no idea about tractors so anything you just spoke about was new to me. But you know what I did, I watched. You bring me in and make me want to stick around no matter the subject. You are one of the most interesting people online. Brain Wrinkles was such a smart phrase because I feel like after watching I learned a few thing. There truly is a field for every talent.
I love love love these sunglasses!!! They are so much fun and I plan on getting them possibly in another color!! It will be such a treat!!! Also in regard to what you mentioned about all the places not being places everyone might enjoy, that is why I go, there is so much knowledge to have from places we might not typically go to and visit. I learned so much so I was happy to be able to share it with others also!!
By far one of the neatest museums you've taken us to yet! I could spend several days scrutinizing everything inside and the barbed-wire display was beyond cool!! Great work!! Oh, hi Bunny's dad!
I appreciate how much time and dedication you give to each of these locations. The museums are such a resource to all those who have or cannot visit. I appreciate your hard work always as you power young and old minds alike through your "lesson planning" sharing things in a realistic way and centering that focus on the respect of the subject. You don't just go and regurgitate some history or a few facts, you can see your passion for knowledge coming through each stop. That is what makes your channel and personality contagious. Please keep pursuing this field. You are a gem Bunny.
I appreciate you and your words so much!! My goal always has just been to encourage others to live life more fully and learn from the past to make better tomorrows. I feel like places like these and others are so interesting but in a unique way which we might not all realize until we dive in... I am just so happy to be a cog of learning for others.
That was AWESOME! If you're interested, the city of Pawnee, OK has a very large steam tractor show the first weekend of May every year where you can see lots of tractors like these, and older, running and being used. It's very interesting.
Good video! Tractors were always expensive but Tractors cost an incredible amount of money for Farmers nowadays. I have a farmer who rents my fields and he has a John Deere that doesn't have tires but rather a traction system that looks similar to what you would see on a military tank. Anyway I looked up the model and price of his tractor one time on the internet and I think his tractor retails brand new for $600,000. Of course modern-day tractors now have air conditioned cabins and they can even be self-driving. But still I think the price is extremely high because Farmers really struggle to make a living now. And the price for tractors now is way higher even after you adjust for inflation than what tractors used to cost back in the 1980s and 1990s. 😢
Oh wow, this facility is amazing. The things you can see and read about are incredible. Very well executed and oh them brain wrinkles. Cool that you and your Dad were able to enjoy and explore. Thanks for sharing 👍
I found these on TEMU.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! They are so fun!!! Also they did have them in other colors but I cannot for the life of me remember what they were.. i hope to get a few more pairs in the future so maybe who knows we will be seeing more of these!!
I absolutely agree, her educational videos are hands down some of the most relatable I have found because of her personality. She makes learning fun for everyone.
Thank you so much!!! I just try to stick to who I am and let that be a testament to who I am and then highlight the subject of the location so that others can see the value in it also!
I would watch if she had a program on PBS, I often feel as though I am watching Rick Steves. Many of you might not know who that is, but he is an incredible journalist in the travel space. Bunny reminds me of him.
Bunny if you’re on the road for a month what is a ballpark cost for gas food etc…I’m trying to figure out if this is feasible for me..thanks for any information! 💜
It varies from location to location... when i go toward the east i have to pay for more campsites vs west where there are more public lands to camp on. Additionally gas prices vary through out the year and in different states... midwestern states are less expensive usually than more eastern or western states.... that said i can easily travel non stop in my van for over a month for less than $1000. I have run some numbers before and put out a video but the issue is I don't travel the way most do so it is harder to compare how i physically travel so quickly to the average person traveling at a regular pace. But just for funzies I tried to stretch $1000 as far as I could and through going to free attractions, eating out very few times and watching where i spend i made it last almost 2 full months. now is that my regular spending, no i usually spend a bit more just because i pay for admission to museums, buy groceries but also try local cuisine sometimes, pay for gas and don't limit myself if i find something i would like (within reason). I know that isn't super helpful but each person is so different, I also didn't include any of my personal bills in this because everyone has different bills which need to be accounted for.
Thanks so much for the information Bunny! That helps a lot…maybe we’ll see each other on the road sometime…you have really inspired me to get up and move! 💜
I try to keep things interesting for sure! This place is mot somewhere everyone might consider but is something that certainly has some unique things we can learn!!!

I really enjoyed this one because it was so different than others... great to expand our thoughts when it comes to travel!!
We have been here a couple of times, the College of the Ozarks is a treasure.
I agree!!! It is a wonderful place!

Great tractor muscium. It reminds me of when I was small. We use to play on an old tractor 🚜 acting like we were driving it. Thanks for the memories 👍

Oh very cool!!! I didn't know they did one
Great video Bunny. Nice to see them restoring those old tractors. Bringing them new life is important.
I agree.. they are now restored to teach all of us!!!

My Papaw had tractors 🚜 but I never learned how to drive them. Neat museum.
I can drive a tractor but it took some work and every time i get on it i have to have a refresher...lol
Thanks for the video. That quilt was beautiful with all the ribbons.
Absolutely!! It is so nice to see how people commemorate things in such unique ways!
I didn't know tractors could be interesting. But you are interesting so I watched and I had no idea.
This is why I try out new things.. you never know unless you go!!
Thank you for sharing your adventures. The tractor museum is really interesting !!
She thinks my tractors sexy. This should have been your song of the day for this episode.
lol... good one... no song typically for the individual museums so as to not distract from the subjects they share but that one is a good one...lol
Good video Bunny, as a farm boy I have seen a lot of these different tractors, mostly when they looked beat up though.
It was really interesting to see the history of them all!!
Girl you knew I was going to hop on here and say how much I love those sunglasses. Where did you find these and do they have other color ways?
I found these on TEMU.... I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! They are so fun!!! Also they did have them in other colors but I cannot for the life of me remember what they were.. i hope to get a few more pairs in the future so maybe who knows we will be seeing more of these!!
Not really interested in tractors, but commenting for engagement cause you should be on PBS.
I absolutely agree, her educational videos are hands down some of the most relatable I have found because of her personality. She makes learning fun for everyone.
Aww thanks!!! I appreciate you for that!!

For real, someone from PBS, you should be signing this woman. Best history channel on TH-cam when it comes to travelers.
