I have the same ones in dark khaki and green. They look cool and comfortable as hell. I couldn’t recommend them more than anything else. Super comfortable and well worth the money
These are a VASTLY better fit than 5.11 stryke pants. (no more clown pants, as in too much waste fabric) stryke pants were also cut weird, you had to have your belt above your hips for a correct crotch fit, icon pants fit perfect when worn at the waistline. That being said 5.11 apparently still can't get their sizing correct. I measured my waist at 36" so ordered 36" & the waist was too big by minimum 2". (Had the same thing with their stykr pants) Sent them back for 34" & they are a perfect fit. Bear in mind they also have elastic stretch at the pocket/waist as well so they feel way too big if you go with your actual waist measurement. Order 2" smaller...
Nice overview. I'm not a fan of the front pockets being changed to slanted but oh well. I'm curious to try a pair of these out for myself to compare the flexibility and range of motion to the good ol' strykes. Nice video!

Thanks so much for this, was searching for a while for an explanation of the differences between the stryke and icon shorts and youre explains it first and best. Question: when you say your large phone won't fit in the front pocket, do you mean length/depth-wise or width-wise? In my strykes, an iPhone 12 Max sticks out because it's taller than the pocket, but it does fit in width-wise, and that's OK for me. Are they not as wide the front ones?
Tough choice man....both pants are good infact both pants are great. I've had a hard time finding the ridge pants available and it seems they skip my size 32 waist. Wierd....anyways u won't go wrong with either choice man

Trying to decide on these vrs the 5.11 ridge pants. I dont know if i like the front mag pockets or the concealed waist mag pocket

Does the waist line have that extra stretch technology as well on the inside of the pants
