Haha yeah keep them spiders away from me regular tent inspections in the summer are a thing for me haha. It was a nice spot I imagine flawless in summer taking s swim and warming in the tent. ATB Luke

New subscriber here! Amazing spot that - camped exactly there myself a couple of summers back in 25 degree heat. Beers whilst lying in the tarn seems a bit different to your experience but a camp is a camp and they’re all fantastic 💪💪 Nice work

Good decision to drop down and find that nice calmer pitch 👌🏽 lve camped there a couple of times. Nice little bit of luck seeing the deer on your way back down aswell. Thanks so much I do think I heard them moving around in the earlier hours of the morning they probably knew exactly where I was all night. I'm just glad I got to find a spot to camp!

you must be about 6'0 height, I find myself with head touching inner what does not bother me too much but sometimes I find myself sitting like you with head outside haha. but I'm using Big Agnes rapido SL mat what increase height off floor and reduce height to ceiling same time : ) You got to fry onions, that's propper cooking. Right decision not to pitch near the summit. I think the spot you had by smallwater was perfect.
