I have been watching your vlogs while drawing my own gouache paintings. I am still at learning stage but watching your videos motivates me to do my works instead of feeling burdened by the details. Love your videos.
No, sometimes i just work without the base color. But I do often use yellow for the artworks that i wanted to appear warm; another reason is that I find warm-toned base makes it less daunting to start compared to white paper/canvas. :-)
