THE BEST CAMPSITE YET !…. Why Didn’t We Know about this place…

- WHAT A PLACE THIS WAS! ...A MUST STAY SITE , First a quick stopover at thetford forest club site then onto probably the best place we have stayed to date , Eves Farm , and we are very happy to share with you what a lovely CS site it is , this was recommended to us by a viewer , we wish we knew about it earlier as it would have been , and now most definitely will be a regular for us....the layout , the on site farm shop , the walks , the immaculate toilets and over-all maintenance and cleanliness of the place was well appreciated & just 30 mins from Cromer on the North Norfolk Coast , We had a good feeling about the place the moment we drove in and were immediately welcomed by the owners when we went in the farm shop to pay for our stay
Ideal for walks long or short , or just relax in the van looking out at the fields , we loved it
Price was £23 Per Night with Elec or £20 without
TV Signal was good , phone signal ( 02 not bad , EE good )

We were in Scotland for that week Cannich and Mellon udrigle check them out beautiful bird song but the cuckoo's were in full song 🐦
we heard our first cuckoo at eves farm on that walk , would love to go back to scotland one day loved it there

i know 😂 i thought please not grass again but they reassured us it was free draining soil so we was happy with that and as you saw we drove straight off , lovely 👍 but yes a lovely site with shop , we loved it

Two great sites. We just left Sherwood Forest this morning and we’re discussing whether Thetford Forest would also have good dog walking. I nearly booked that site and wish we had now! The CL was really good another location to add to my list but it will probably be next year ☹️. The footage of the night sky is fantastic. When we were watching Ivan said that’s an alien invasion so we laughed at the end of the video. Thanks for sharing another great video.
hi sylv yeah thetford forest site is excellent for dog walks and shaded paths so ideal for hot days , just no facilities , can’t wait to see your van , and the both of you of course 😂 , hope the weather stays nice it’s looking ok so far 👍

Couple of cracking site's, the walks, the farm shop, the tranquility and the meat all looked fantastic, and the brownie 👌, did I ever tell you I was thrown out the cubs for eating a brownie 😂😂😂😂😂😂, another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍.

Pure bliss. CS & CL sites are in my view, the best for peace and quiet. The dogs did well walking all that way. My pooch, with her little legs would have been knackered. 👍
yes we have become partial to the little sites now days , we appreciate nature and like tranquility, yes the dogs did get really tired, although it looked like we was dressed for winter it was actually muggy

Looks like a nice site guys. There used to be a lovely chippy in Reepham. I used to do a weekly motorbike run for the lads at work.
we never made it to Reepham unfortunately , our dogs got too tired but next time we’ll stay for longer and see much more , thanks for watching the video

Beautiful country... Great place to camp for sure. We love staying at little places like the farm. We use a program called Harvest Host here were we can stay at places like that. Another fantastic Video Mike and Kristy! Thank you for sharing

I pass Thetford Forest Site every day going to work in Mildenhall. We had good weather Coronation Weekend at St Olaves, rained Saturday night.
ah yes we know someone who was at the hollies in lowestoft they said it was really nice weather there too , thetford site is handy when we somewhere after work and can’t make it before dark so we often stop there

Love the hillbilly sound track at the beginning. Mind you most of your soundtrack are great.
Love to support farm shops, but find them expensive, hence Morrisons get to much of our custom.

Looks fab! How old are your Frenchies? We have a 9 1/2 year old Frenchie, very much struggling with the warmer weather and longer walks so we choose carefully where we stay.
Hi they will both be 10 this year 😢😢 we try and get them out as early as we can in the warmer months then just relax at the van for the rest of the day, they can walk 3 miles comfortably in the cooler weather 😊

Thetford looks an interesting site - the woodland is beautiful. But loved that CS site - totally tranquil and out of the way. And brilliant to have the farm shop on site. Food looked delicious!!

thanks yes thetford is a nice but no facilities , i’ll always try to include a timelapse given the right conditions , a clear star night is rare so i have to be on the ball with the weather etc , i’ll have to get back to you on the settings i used

hi , if i do , the wind has to be minimal and drop through the night rather than increase , i don’t trust gusts & use weather apps with gust speeds , i wont take chances although been tempted many times and ended up getting up and going out there in the freezing cold winding it back in , i’ve seen the aftermath , it can not only damage your awning , but your van too and also your neighbors van
