Great video Walcott is lovely parking on the road at the beach good general store cafe and fish n chips,I'm in Norfolk quite a bit use park for night loads of spots that are freeeee lol take care my lovelys🤔😉😁👍
We went to Cromer it was really difficult we also got f*** off written in spit on our drivers window when we went into supermarket Love the video you two much love xx
love Cromer my sister lives there, you can see her flat when you were outside No1s. I agree about the parking Norfolk is the least motorhome friendly county we have been to. we are full time and totally agree with you when you said you cant do those silly campsite prices all the time. safe and happy travels xx
Another brilliant video from you three, Chicco looks nice and warm in his little coat. You’ve really cheered my Sunday evening up as I try to keep my little Shih Tzu’s calm with all the fireworks going mad across the valley. Thankyou for the tour of Cromer, and stay safe as you park precariously on the roadside!
@@NorthernersonTour There are goats on the cliff at Boscombe (East of the centre of Bournemouth). When they are in the mood, they pose for photographs.
Suffolk is not motorhome friendly either. Very controversial in the villages where most of the cottages have been bought by second home owners for rent to holiday makers. Homes on wheels not welcome 🤷🏼♂️ We are not supposed to talk about it sadly. We definitely need Aires with approved parking for leisure vehicles. It would be a good sideline for the farmers and landowners rather than just CLs and CSs which are all over the county. You do have to be a club member to access them though. 🙂 Safe travels 🚐 Trev
Parked there last year, Cromer is a stunning place and has 3 great pubs, has a small industrial park, if you struggle parking again.. that way you don't have any more drama's
I enjoyed seeing Cromer with you two and not forgetting Chico. It's crazy not to let folks park , I surpose they think travellers will move in and then it will cost lots to move them on. I can't stop watching 😂 happy travels , I'm planning my holidays on the places you have been 😅. Keep up the great job ❤xxx
What a shame😢. Still if the chips were good, not a total dead loss. And inside toasty and warm with rain pouring día outside.....Great chips and a good culpa. Can't be bad!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅👍👍👍
Great vid, we've had lotsa fish n chips from.no 1. Dogs are allowed on the pier, just watch for the crab buckets tho ,our Cocker spaniel put his nose in one 🤣🤣🤣
We were at Cromer 2 yrs ago and it isa lovely place, we didn't try the No 1 however, if you turned your motorhome around and went past the big carpark, follow the road and within walking distance there is a chip shop on the right hand side next door to a pub and OMG the fish and chips are tremendous, we are going back there next year for a fortnight. Good vlog.
I live in Norfolk. Loved seeing you go around Cromer. I've been to No 1 before. Didn't rate it. You passed the best one on your way there. Mary Jane's. Have you been to Sheringham yet. You would like it for the charity shopping there . Take care of yourselves xx
We loved Cromer but preffered Hunstanton the chippy on the hill was the best I've ever had and a caravan spares shop close by. Sheringham is a lovely place massive high street.
I parked there also two years ago, I like Cromer. I also only wild camp it's not possible to be paying every night when you are full time. It is getting harder though, and now great Yarmouth are moving people who have been long term along the front. So after a winter in Norfolk I went to Scotland and found that so much easier.
We were there in August and that No1 chippy was queued down the street from open till close, don’t mind a fish supper but ain’t queuing for hours for it.
Shame about the car parks it makes you feel as you are not wanted with your motorhomes. Kiss for for chicco.yes do like bankie's paintings.all the best to you both ❤
Another great video and I'm the same as you Lisa don't get why all charity shops don't allow dogs especially little ones. I liked Cromer when I was there xx
noticed /fish&chips was £11...or...£11.60.....it was small chips £3...lrg £3.60 as the chips are seperate..was at cromer not long ago lovely place, keep up your good vids,,brilliant💯
Great video sorry but I had to close my 👀 eyes when mark walked down the steps Cromer is a great place loved it when we went spent a good few hours crabbing
Really enjoyed this video , I’ve been to Cromer some years ago now though stayed in a caravan owned by a couple me and my then boyfriend knew, went with his dad and his partner remember it being very nice area xx❤😊
Totally agree with the overnight parking guys, we off grid all the time, rally fields etc etc, just don't understand why councils don't embrace this for motorhomes and camper vans, it's a good source or revenue, I think the big concerns for councils in regards to this is traveller's moving in, hence the height barriers, we are with you all the way, keep up the great videos, all the best the hectours xx
We really enjoyed your video! We liked going to Cromer when we had a Motorhome. Btw you can take your doggy on the pier, we always take our Westie. Also recommend the Doggy Diner you mentioned. They take a photo of your dog and he gets his own menu! If you like cakes the bakery on the corner opposite the church is awesome! The museum is interesting too. Much love Ben and Gavin
Hi, lovely to see you in Cromer. Local seaside for us, would suggest next time you want fish and chips go to Mary Jane's they are delicious, give Chicco a big kiss and cuddle from us x
Sadly loads are not and its so sad, we use allot of pub stops but that cost too but at least if I am spending £30-£40 it feeds and water me and most pubs are great. Camp sites are all full in the summer and dead in the winter but they still want top doller. We use allot of CL's as well as they are normally quite helpful and friendly. Great vlog guys.
Hi guys, yes, the UK is missing a trick with allowing more locations people in vans to park overnight. We are currently in Europe and have found that there are far more places, as you know and many others do. Unfortunately some have spoiled certain areas in the UK and as such overnight stops have been prevented. If a location states you must be self-contained it means you need to have your own toilet facilities. Some have ignored these rules and have caused them to be closed for overnight stops. Many locations in France and Spain allow you to stop but not to put out your chairs and tables etc. That is fine as they normally have fresh water and waste facilities. One location we stopped at in Spain had FREE electricity lookup up 16 amps! Remember that height barriers although they stop coach built vehicles are often put up to stop overnight stops by lorries which would not be allowed to stop on the highway. Also remember that it is illegal to park on the highway overnight and sleep in your vehicle if you are generally having an alcoholic drink as even if you are not moving the vehicle that night the driver(s) is deemed to be in charge of it and could be over the limit. It is the law as we all know but worth remembering. But you guys are sensible - sadly not everyone is and far from it for us to dictate. It's just worth considering. As a final note, we have stayed in campsites in the UK in July and August and our average nightly stay was £39. In Europe it has been £15.50 over 31 nights so far.
we never drink unless camped in a site we ain’t that bothered i’d rather have a nice cuppa and your figures at the bottoms of your comment speaks for its self rip off britain
I totally agree with everything you say. Uk is not motor home friendly. These towns are missing out, but unfortunately there are some that take the mick. Staying fir more than a couple of nights. Plus the rubbish some leave behind, which has made it impossible for folks like you and I . We certainly leave no trace we were ever there, never stay more than 2nights. Cannot wait to try Europe xxx
We often stay on the beach rd in Cromer , we agree there’s not enough stopover places for Moho’s , you should try Walcott along the coast further you can stay on the beach rd there too(that’s where we were this weekend) we’d love to meet you , my husband Colin is desperate to by Mark a Chinese 🤣 if you’re carrying around the coast Horsey beach for the seals .
