Same thing happened to me. I was trying to chuck it up but the memory of those I lost broke me down. This song somehow opens up a portal to that day and at the same time, reminds me that they are still with me.

Juan Gabriel wrote the song and wrote it for Rocio Durcal who lost here son in a drowning accident in Acapulco in 1974. The song was first released 1984 when Rocio Durcal song it. You guys should listen to her version, both are great, but she is the original singer.
