Just for context, Juan Gabriel’s utmost dream as a rising singer, was to sing in Bellas Artes with a symphony. As dreamed, he performed several times and this performance was one of them. Singing at Bellas Artes is very limited and only the most talented, deemed by the organization, can do it. He performed with the same passion at every concert. No gig was too small for him. My Dad had tickets to his show in our local city. It was the first time Juan Gabriel was coming to Utah and my Dad was so elated. Juan Gabriel was his all-time favorite artist and he had never seen him live. Juan would die days before his show in Salt Lake. My Dad was devastated, I've never seen him like that. He isn't a person who shows his emotions easily, but this occasion was different. My dad disappeared on us for two days and when he reappeared he said he went hiking to think about things and that he was doing better. We were scared a little for a minute, but now we laugh about it.

My mom, my aunt, my sister, and I had tickets to see him perform in Salt Lake City in 2016 and were absolutely devastated when he passed about a month prior after another concert in California I believe. My Dad had tickets to his show in our local city. It was the first time Juan Gabriel was coming to Utah and my Dad was so elated. Juan Gabriel was his all-time favorite artist and he had never seen him live. Juan would die days before his show in Salt Lake. My Dad was devastated, I've never seen him like that. He isn't a person who shows his emotions easily, but this occasion was different. My dad disappeared on us for two days and when he reappeared he said he went hiking to think about things and that he was doing better. We were scared a little for a minute, but now we laugh about it.

It was on the same year that my grandma died.

I’ve watched and listen to this performance so many times, makes me cry crocodile tears each time.
His music transcends and takes you places. He felt every song every time he performed. You can his songs even when sung by others have the same emotional connection. He was definitely a performer his music takes you deep and raises you he knew how to perform and how to make you feel part of him. This song talks about embracing each other as time will slip by. Time is a cruel friend God forgives you but time does not.

Even though, JuanGa (as everyone calls him for short) was a man of the people, this was a culminating performance. you can see that his wardrobe tastefully is a tasteful tribute to the Mexican flag. If you like this, you should check out his duets with current artists. As a singer-song writer, he collabed a lot with a lot of young latino artists. Bellas Artes…is typically a performace of culmination when an artists reaches a certain status.

DonVon, you came late to the PARTY, but your here! Juan Gabriel is huge! I remember growing up having my mom listening to him as she cleaned house on Saturdays. Now with my kids who are now 26 and 24, they grew up listening to Juan Gabriel on my Saturdays cleaning and on road trips. In our family, we have loved him for three generations!!!❤

Yo crecí escuchando su música, mis papás nos ponían sus canciones cada vez que comíamos y salíamos de viaje en carro. Por años, yo estuve tratando de ir a algún concierto de él, y llevar a mi mamá, pero por alguna razón no lo hacía… tuve la bendición de llevar a mi mamá en su cumpleaños a un concierto de Juanga, y a los pocos meses falleció. Me sentí muy triste, pero a la vez muy feliz de haberlo podido disfrutar en vivo. Y después de muchos años pude visitar su callejón en Cd. Juárez., puedo ver su casa por fuera y senti hermoso, y Siento muy bonito ver a una persona totalmente diferente que haga una reacción a sus canciones y le llegue al corazón.
