  • 5 Exercises Men Need To Build Muscle - listen, man. These are the ONLY 5 exercises men need to build muscle. And in this video, I’ll show you which are the best exercises to build muscle. Sure, there are other routines you can follow. However, if you’re strapped with your training plan, these are the 5 exercises men need to build muscle that you can start using today.
Rows are one of the 5 exercises men need to build muscle. This is one of the most powerful exercises to build muscle for men in the posterior chain. Which are the lats, read delts, traps. And this is one of the best exercises for men to build muscle in their biceps too.
Another one of the 5 exercises men need to build muscle is the squat. This is one of the top 5 exercises to build muscle, period. Because it works so many muscle groups at once and has a positive impact on your master male hormone, testosterone. A huge reason this is one of the best exercises to build muscle is that you can use it at the very beginning of your workout to release muscle building hormones for the rest of your routine.
Next up on the list of the top 5 exercises men need to build muscle is the bench press. The reason why this is one of the 5 exercises for men to build muscle is that it works multiple muscle groups at once. Including, the chest, shoulder, and triceps. Definitely one of the 5 best exercises for men.
This next one is one of the top exercises for men over 40, top exercises for men over 50, and top exercises for men over 60 IF performed correctly. Which is the shoulder press. The reason this is one of the 5 exercises men need to build muscle is that it works muscles like your shoulder and triceps, while also engaging your core. This includes your abs and lower back. This fits the 5 best muscle building exercises fit father can use to add more size to his upper body.
Lastly, we have the deadlift. The reason it’s one of the top exercises men need to build muscle is that it works so many muscle groups at once. Plus, it releases a key hormone men need to build muscle… which is testosterone and growth hormone. So it’s no wonder most trainers call this the king of all exercises to build muscle for men. Which is why I had to add it to the list of muscle building exercises for men.
So there you have it. The ONLY 5 exercises men need to build muscle. Know anyone who could benefit from these muscle building exercises for men? If so, share the video: • The ONLY 5 Exercises M...

I am a 58 year old woman. I started doing these basic exercises when I was forty and within a few weeks saw tremendous improvements, I have always included them in my workouts and the only time I quit was when I got hit by a car and had to stay out a few weeks.I have seen SO many women in the gym doing a lot of very fancy moves and getting no results and quickly giving up.I learned to keep my mouth shut because they never listen. But the basic moves are really all anybody needs to build muscle and stay decades younger than their years.

I read this programme in an article and I tried it. It works but it doesn't go like you do. First, warming up next you try to perform 25 reps of 1 set of squat with 80% of the weight you can lift. Then, with no rest go directly and do dumbbell pullover for 12 reps 1 set only with average weight the aim of this exercise is to regulate your breath by expanding your rib cage. Secondly, move for 3 sets of the bench press - 3 sets of chin-ups - 3 sets of bent-over row - 3sets of deadlift - 3 sets of dumbbell shoulder press - 3 sets of the barbell curl - 3 sets of dips. Finally, try some abs. I'm really impressed with this programme!! I didn't believe the article until I gave it a try for one month. The secret here is using no isolation exercises only compound movements and DEADLIFT - SQUAT - BENCH PRESS - CHIN UPS that BOOST your HORMONES UP. Try it only three times a week for one day on and one day off beside making a list of your record by inserting more weight each time. The article advises adding very light easy weight and doesn't ever run out to add extra big disks at once. Those who read my comment CONGRADUATION you get the secret! for the diet before there were no steroids but they were drinking too much milk and eggs !! YES and using Tribulus Tetris plant (natural plant not that of supplements). This training programme leads to what commercial we actually have today and spend much money on their companies for nothing.

I've been doing these exercises since I wanted to be a Football player at the age of 14. They have all served me well and at the age of 53 I can still get over 500 lbs. in squat and deadlift and 315 for 5 on bench. I get way more from doing less. I always have. I NEVER pre exhaust. I use the exercise I am going to do as my warmup. The only time I got a serious injury was from doing pre exhaust. I throw in some curls, close grip bench, etc and other ancillary exercises. It gets confusing with all of these new machines out there, but don't let the shiny stuff fool you. Nothing replaces free weights. The balance and dexterity it builds alone is priceless, especially as you age. My two cents.

If people only knew this is really all you need. I've been training from home these last 4 months due to this pandemic. I've made more progress in building muscle and strength then ever before. These exercises are about 80 percent of my program. I do 3 movements per body part. 10,15, or 20 reps 5 sets each. RPE 8 or 9. That's it. I haven't changed my exercises for like 2 years now. I just change the rep range. Still making good progress and never been injuried. Been training for 6 years now. Good form an a tight core can minimize injury ALOT. Great video man! Simple but VERY EFFECTIVE.

3 times a week one for strength, one for hypertrophy, one dealoading (reduce weights):
    1H-1H10 top session:
    3*5-8 Squat
    3*5-8 Bench Press
    3*5-8 Military Press
    3*5-8 Rows
    3*5-8 Deadlift
    3*8-10 pull ups
    3*8-10 Dips
Then add 1 or 2 complementary exercises:3 to 4 sets each 8-12 reps
examples: barbell curls, skull crashers, lateral raises, bentover rows, shrugs or uprises,
Every workout should include 3 sets of abs (your choise) of 15-20 reps and 3 sets of calves (your choice) 12-15 reps
Never leave the gym worn out, and most importantly, eat right and get enough rest !
This is probably the most important advice I could give: Leave the lifting in the gym, when you're out, you're out, just have a LIFE!
This is for the long-run, it's best not to change a winning program, change the order of exercises, rep range, but stick to the basics. Full body program is really SUPERIOR in every sense ! Give it a try and you'll see for yourself
    Good luck everyone

    4) 2-handed kettlebell swings
    5) rows with a basebar.

I think you may be to even reduce it to 3 exercises. Deadlift, Military Press and Dumbbell Bench Press (better for those who train at home or no spotter), and can throw in Barbell Curl for a full Bicep contraction, and a calf exercise "for fun". That would be my 5. (Im 51 and squats even with very light weight causes pain in knees, not deadlift yet though.

fun fact- if youre REALLY strapped for time, two movements that illicit higher emg response in the intended muscle as opposed to the exercises shown would be a chest supported row, (greater emg acrivity in the lats)and standing ohp with dumbbells(this illicits a greater medial delt recruitment then any other ohp).

And what do you believe would be the absolute best order of doing these 5 exercises?
