The best Macaron are definitely not from La Durée. I don't get why foreigners are so obsessed with it. Their macaron are produce in factories, they are industrial products. They used to be hand made back in the 19th century but it's definitely not the case anymore (and I'm not even talking about the way they exploit their workers). There are tons of place in Paris where you can find better macaron like Pierre Hermé, Dalloyau...
