I buy running "gels" or "goo" packs way cheaper than the diabetic version.
Really good information, thanks for all the reminders!
Such an awesome video! I’m actually editing a packing video currently myself! lol! I love the idea about the stick on gems - I never thought about that but now of course I must order them immediately!! Thank you so so so much for your awesome videos!!!!
Yassssss
droplet needles for a qwikpen! i forgot those, and only those, when i flew home. a loved one was able to get one at a pharmacy, luckily, bc they sell them.
Hi Justin- A very helpful video; thank you!
Glad I could help :)
In case no one ever told you this, glucagon doesn’t work if you’ve been drinking alcohol!! Use something like instaglucose, a gel that can be administered sublingually. I always keep a couple on hand. They’re also pretty inexpensive (at least where I live I think I paid $7)
Great advice for travel!
What bag/organizer do you use to travel with all of this or your extra medical bag that you use when traveling?
Hi Justin, just wanted to let you know that every endocrinologist I have ever had and I’ve been a diabetic for over 40 years has said you should always wear identification saying that you are a type one diabetic
Did you travel with your extra G7 out of the box? That would save so much space!!
One was in the box, the other wasn’t. Normally I take them out, def helps with packing :)
Where did you get the charger back from
Charger bank
Waw
I thought the new Dexcom G7 won't support insulin pumps yet?
It doesn't, but I use Loop, a non-FDA cleared system that it does work with omnipod and g7 :) I've got a video on TH-cam explaining Loop. Check it out.
@@diabe_tech Thanks for your reply but I'm not on a pump. type 2 pills and inulin pen.
alcohol whips
My endocrinologist said diabetics should never take vacations!
What is vacation ?
