    Any show talking college ball that doesn’t include Paul Finebaum is like heaven.

      agreed. but i will say, watching finbaum mentally come unhinged over the last 3 weeks has been hilarious. the guy is having a very difficult time facing facts that the sec is just very AVERAGE now.

    So the networks often post there stuff a couple hours later. Rich understands how the show works. He's not on espn, you have to makes your video minutes after the result. Eisen & conan Obrien are the two guys whom came up in the old media world that get the new one.

      Doesn’t really get enough credit for being the first of the main NFL media people to get off the airwaves and syndicate his own internet show. Kind of the original Pat mcafee except he licensed it to NBC & Roku instead of ESPN

    To be fair. It’s the Citrus bowl. Which is a pretty good bowl game minus the playoffs obviously. 2 teams. Both 9-3 and in the top 20. One from the ESEC and one from the B1G so there was a decent amount at stake.

    We have seen OSU ceiling. Have we seen TX’ floor. What will we see when they meet on the field?

    • @Jay-r6s1i
      @Jay-r6s1i 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Texas hasn't come close to its ceiling. I don't think we will see it this season. They are what they are.
      Having said that, Texas' defense matches up well with Ohio State. It will come down to Ewers. It's that simple.

    TOO MUCH FAN BABBLING. SO IMMATURE AND ANNOYING. NO BODY KNOWS ANYTHING UNTIL THE GAME HAPPENS. ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN TO CHANGE THINGS. THE TEAMS THAT PLAYS THEIR BEST WITH NO INJURIES, PENALTIES AND NO POOR REFEREES CALLS WILL WIN.

    OSU is by far the best team in college football.

    • @LC9842
      @LC9842 16 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I would not say by far when they didn’t even win the conference, lost 2 games and almost lost to a 6-6 Nebraska team.

    No Dan, You and most other pundits are missing the point. If you want the competition to make sense and have equity for all, it MUST be based on merit. Too many arbitrary judgements on this or that aspect has devolved college football into the basket case it is. It needs to be restructured to facilitate winning teams getting the benefit of winning for ALL teams. All major competitions must focus on the core product maximisizing competitive play that the fans can follow easily and relate to.

      @JB-tp6uj 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      As ideal as that sounds, there is no universal merit in college football that would be agreed on by all. Not all "winning teams" have the same road. And maybe you're too young, but college football didn't devolve into this. Arbitrary judgments and subjectivity has existed in college football since inception. This is the same sport where colleges used to claim themselves as national champions regardless of how things played out on the field.

      Btw I am 55 and have torn out my hair because of the incompetence in American sports leadership which has more ego's than balls.
      @JB-tp6uj - Thanks for your input
      I am not asking for ideal. I am asking for an NCAA leadership to lead. "If you are an NCAA member then your school plays by these new rules...." Yes, consult, research etc. then make every stakeholder unhappy for one season until they realize the new format is good for the sport and by extension everyone involved.
      No competition in the world looks anything like this dogs breakfast. It is farcical and the only thing lay people hang their hat on to support it is precedent. HOW IS THAT A GOOD IDEA?..."Its crap now because its always been crap and therefore we must keep it crap". When money is the ONLY driver - This is what sport looks like... nonsensical.
      The arbitrary component undermining the competition is the flat tyre on this sportscar. It will never reach its potential when there can be no measure of competition integrity.

    Wait a minute. So Ohio State is built to beat SEC teams but can't handle the physicality and toughness of Michigan? I'm confused. I thought the SEC was the most physical and toughest out of the bunch. That's an excuse Wetzel just delivered. Ohio State didn't take Michigan seriously based on their won-loss record. They thought they could just show up and Michigan would fold. This includes the coaching staff.
    Michigan is built like a SEC team. Defensively they're huge and powerful up front, versatile in the middle and fast on the back-end.

    It doesn't put a big question mark on that game, its over. Michigan won. OSU lost. What do they say is worse than a sore loser? Get over it, Rich
