Y’all absolutely NAILED the personalities for the Pharisees! Extra special kudos to the woman who played Ciaphas! She got exactly the gravitas and depth the character needed, which is WILD since most men can’t get the original voice! Being able to do ace such a difficult character when you’re also gender swapping them is incredibly cool! 😁
I loved it. It was great seeing women singing songs that was usually song by men. They are very talented and I wish them plenty of success and prosperity in the future.
Fantastic job! All of you ladies were amazing. I've been a huge fan of the 20th anniversary London cast for 25yrs now. You gave me chills and I can’t stop listening!
Holy cannoli, this was an amazing cover of this song. And loved that we had women singing parts that almost always are sung by men. They were all seriously great singers.
This is the best version of this song I have seen on the internet. It was so refreshing to hear female voices doing this and every single of one of you absolutely nailed your parts. The facial expressions, vocals and overall performances were truly outstanding. You had me dancing in my seat. Thrilling stuff! Thank you!
1. Interesting song choice. Very well performed, just interesting. 2. A little villainous for villainy's sake without "Then We Are Decided." That song definitely gives some motivation and humanity to the Pharisees.
@@MollieElyse yes and it was great, but please don't take my comment as condemnation, my opinion is just that, mine. Although I'm showing my age, what I meant is that Jewishson's version is the gold standard for anything that follows and all comparisons. You may want to look up what he did with a limited budget and a sand storm while filming. All done on location in Isreal with a bunch of young actors. And no tech shit like you have today.
This is my favorite song from JCS. Great job everyone, what an awesome cover!
I agree absolutely.
Getting strong feels!!❤️🔥
@@jamesdonovan6340 my favorite version of the musical is the latest with Norm Lewis

Me too. I really enjoy this.
Great stuff. A very good cover, done with due respect to the source, but with a unique new take. That's how it's done!
Really great! Congratulations
Does anyone know why the version by Norm Lewis was scrubbed?
This is audio perfection. One of the best songs from JCSS ❤❤

Impressive! I'm a big fan of the 1973 film & soundtrack. Any one of those tracks would be a tall order to learn/perform/record.

Exelente!!!
Very good.

Mi parte favorita de JCS aunque se oye extraño oírla en tono femenino me gusta mucho. También las las caras que ponen
Superb, the original plays with male voices and this version with female voices.
Why does this look & sound like a coven of witches at a Black Sabbath?
Q bien cantado.muy muy bien
❤❤❤❤❤
👏👏👏👏👏
Thought I wouldn't like female Caiaphas and Annas but you were great!
Brave
Does anyone know why the version by Norm Lewis was scrubbed?
and its lepers not leopards
Can i be a part of it?
Were the pharisees a bunch of goth nerds? At least these goths can sing
sounds great.Thanks
Although this is a great work by the singers, nothing compares to Norman Jewishson's 1973 masterpiece
As a huge fan of Norman Jewison’s film adaptation, we were not trying to compare at all. Simply trying something different 🙂
