I LOVE this tutorial! I’m back to use it again this year. I had to stop the video a few times when I first watched but once I hit the terminology down I was set. It’s very easy to follow after that.
there's a pattern for the snowed in sweater on my website and a pillow pattern will be releasing soon :) and thanks--i think it looks rustic too! i was going for a winter log cabin vibe :)
I love the way it looks on the front, but I'm making it for a baby blanket. Is there a way to hide where you carry the yarn on the back? To me, it looks messy and I would love to "hide" it better. Thoughts? Thank you!
I’m making a Christmas motifs blanket with this and to make the back cleaner I cut and weaved in tails between color changes You could also felt the tails instead of weaving them in
Though you may be filming at full volume, you must speak up to make it count. If your voice is not loud enough to reach the microphone on your recording device, it does me know good because on my Tab e, the volume only goes to 10. There is no Spinal Tap 11.
You can either pause the video to catch up or make the playback speed slower. This is a tutorial for a written paid pattern so it might be a bit faster.
If you are on a tablet network or cell phone ,You can tap your screen and an icon will appear at the top that looks like a gear (you might call the cog) , tap that , and when the window opens go down to the bottom and find playback speed tap that and find the setting that will be slow enough for you to crochet along with. For this video, I would choose 25% speed, if I didn't already know how to do a granny square with color changes. Most other demonstrators in tutorials will slow down at the important parts so that you can catch that, and because the rest of what will be done until they get to the corner or to some other turning point where this stitch changes will just be more of the same stuff, and then they will slow down to demonstrate the new change. I personally love the way Turkish, Arab, Russian, Mexican/S.American/Spanish, Portuguese and Asian, women demonstrate. I only have a small amount of French and Italian subscriptions, and they are almost as fast as the Americans and English/British crocheters to whom subscribe. Some don't have any words spoken at all and I find that I learn a lot better when I simply watch and put my eagle eye on every movement to see what they are doing instead of listening to the words that describe what to do. I am an impatient learner if I am interested I will jump into anything whether I know what to do or not and just play "catch up". I didn't know how to knit until I watched a video and put two sticks in my hands and, VOILA!, I can knit now! By the way if you're adventurous enough to try to knit - if you don't already know how - Continental style is the way to go for crocheters. I have a very easy instant learn way that I put together after watching a gazillion knitting videos. It's kind of like combination knitting but as confusing as the video I listen to on that subject. But for simple straight up knit and pearl the easiest way on earth is this way, so contact me by comment and maybe I can make you a little video demonstration and shoot it straight to you. It would be a very inexpert video and though I do have a channel I don't know that I have the hood spot to broadcasted on that. I wish I could just refer you to videos on the subject but I peed together from about four rare videos that I have saved. It is a unique way and it may actually be Russian grandma knitting. Though I did see a younger lady earlier in my days of learning electronic and did not know how to say videos, who had a style of knitting that I thought seemed very extremely easy compared to the other types and I had seen. She definitely was Russian and I tried to learn a smattering of Russian terms but the whole different alphabet thing made me dyslexic and thwarted my progress.

Sounds like you need new speakers. I have volume super low and I hear her clearly. How you addressed her was really rude.
I agree I had no problem understanding
You’re going SO FAST what the heck 😭
