Omgoodness! I am so excited!! I hope that it was an easyish tutorial to follow! My sister loved the blanket I made so much I had to give it to her, so I have started another one it brighter colors for myself. ;) Thanks again for such a kind comment!
Have you thought of making another Christmas square to match with another item, like a Santa or snowflake, or wreath, or sone other things? I would love to make a Christmas-themed blanket with different squares.
Thank you so much!! I remember being so excited when I came up with this block and I am so happy so many are enjoying it too. Thank you for the kind message! xoxo
This makes a beautiful blanket! Im currently working on another one with a bunch of pinks, greens and grays! It's turning out so pretty! Happy crocheting!
Hi! I am soooo excited to hear this! I loved creating this block so much & am so happy that you're enjoying making it! Thank you for sharing this message. xoxo
Hi, I realise this videos a couple of years old now but I was wondering how much wool you need of each colour to make the whole blanket as you described? Thank you for a very informative video though, I can’t wait to make it
Very nice and thank you for sharing....I may make this thicker either using chunky or 2 strands....undecided yet 😁 .... beautiful block.....working on finishing my quilts at the moment for Christmas but I think I'll get started on this in January and see which of the 2 ways I like better 😁
Hi. Thanks for this. Very well explained and easy to follow. You make the colour changes easy to understand. And I just love the Christmasy decorations on your work table. I just have one comment - when you show how to join the squares together you hadn't explained how to do the actual last row in the beige. Am I missing something? I mean I can more or less get it but would like a bit of clarification especially for the corners. TIA
Hi! Thank you too much for the love! I ended up making 35 blocks total, 5 blocks wide by 7 blocks tall. You can adjust it to any size you'd like. Please let me know if you need anything else...I'm happy to help!!
Do you have any other Christmas squares that would coordinate with this this tree pattern, such as a snowflake, poinsettia, snowman, wreath, Santa, stocking, etc. all or some of them together would make a BEAUTIFUL Christmas blanket
Hi! I have designed a few more, but they are larger, if you'd like me to send you the (very unprofessional) templates, please email me jenoelle.hb@gmail.com and I can send them to you asap....I currently have about 6 designed and was really hoping to get a snowflake one out, but am quickly running out of time this year! 😅
Hi Jane! I haven't finished making the complete blanket yet :p but I would definitely recommend 1 skein of the brown, linen and toasted almond and at least 2-3 skeins of the white and the mid-green. I really hope you enjoy the pattern and I hope that the video is easy to follow. I also have the free written pattern on my website. jenoelleboutique.com/blogs/crochet-patterns/granny-stitch-christmas-tree-crochet-block xoxo -Jen
Hi thx for the nice tutorial. Were you be able to guess how many granny squares you can make out of all the yarns you've used in thid video? I'm curious! 😂
Hi! I'm so glad you enjoyed this tutorial! For 35 blocks I ended up needing 2 skins of white and green and just one skein of each of the rest. But, of course, you can make the blanket as large or as small as you'd like. ;) Im not sure how many blocks total could be made with the yarn I showed..but, I hope this answers your question xoxox
Beautiful pattern! I’m in the process of making. Very easy to follow but when I got ready to join the second piece on the second row I ran into trouble in the bottom left corner when three pieces are merging. Can you give me some pointers? Thank you!
Hi Debra! Sorry for the delay in responding to this...When I am joining either 3 or 4 blocks together I always slip stitch into the corner of the block that's across from the one I am working on. I hope this helps..If you still need help email me and I can send you a quick video to show you...xoxo jenoelle.hb@gmail.com
I'm not completely sure the exact size with a 3 weight, I would imagine it would be about 1/2 inch difference. Ill see if I have any 3 weight yarn, if I do, Ill whip one up and let you know!
I am so embarrassed that I somehow missed your comment. I apologize! I'm not sure if you have figured it out by now or not but when joining the second row you will join as usual lining up all stitches. Just make sure when either 3 or 4 blocks come together at the corners that you work your slip stitch into the corner of the block that is diagonal from the one you are working on (not next to or below it.) Please email me if you have any other questions! JeNoelle.hb@gmail.com xoxo Jennifer
Hi! apologizes for just now responding. I did use a separate skein for each side of the white. You can do this by using 2 separate skeins or by splitting 1 skein. If you need anything else please email me. jenoelle.hb@gmail.com Happy Crocheting!
Hi! I am currently working on the free written pattern. It will be available here as soon as I get it finished! jenoelleboutique.com/blogs/crochet-patterns
I couldn't seem to figure out how to zoom in on my end. Did you try the full screen view? I'm still looking into how to try and zoom without having to delete and re-record the video. xoxo
Hi!! The finished block is about 8 inches by 8 inches. This might vary slightly depending on the brand of yarn and if you use a slightly larger or smaller hook. I hope that this helps!
Hi Sandy! The block is roughly 8 inches by 8 inches. I'm glad you liked the joining method! I almost always crochet with the join as you go method when I crochet a granny square.
I have only came up with this one pattern so far...One woman alternated these blocks with just a solid color granny stitch block and it turned out so cute!! If you'd like to see a picture of it I have it posted on my instagram. xoxo @jenoelleboutique
It would be good if white you if you can put a bluebird a board underneath to show the white how it’s done because we can’t distinguish it because the board in the bottom is white and the yarn is quite too. It would be very appreciated because I love your❤ I Lupe Price
If the fort was blue, the white Witchel better, but it’s all white it’s hard for us older people to watch what you’re doing because we can’t distinguish the white from the white. I love your work and I’ve been looking for something like this, and I finally found it and you explain it so well, but that board just throws me off. Blue would be better. That way we can see white on the blue.❤ keep up your good work
Why does the written pattern just stop at row 5 on your website? I want to be able to sit and make lots of these but I have to keep rewatching the video. Great pattern though.
Hi! I didn't even realize that the whole pattern didn't save, I will work on getting it completely finished ASAP. So sorry for the inconvenience. I am so happy that you love the pattern!

Hi, I just wondered how many balls of each yarn you used to make the blanket? Thanks
@@curlyleviit will depend a lot on your tension but I used 3 white, 2 green, 1 1/2 linen and not even a half a skein of the brown

I'm a little confused about why you used a second skien of white instead of just working with the first.
Possible d'avoir d'autre modèle noël dans ce style là ?
How do you make this at least 12x12 ???
