Damn, you guys got it right! I would much rather see these around.
I'd say more like Cadillac CT4 and CT5, respectively.
Yes bro a it wi skate pon di toll and moca love tek weh

appreciate you man
Facts bro
Toyota mark x and Toyota crown most popular brand in Jamaica
🇯🇲🫶
What about Lexus ?
@@user-pb8ty3un9cunderated
@@user-pb8ty3un9cnot as popular surprisingly. More BMW & porche & Mercedes’ on the roads than Lexus
Mark X is also very very popular in Pakistan
This thing is literally everywhere in Zambia, it's so popular there can't be an accident without it💀
Zambia ku chalo😂
Lol basically same in ja
It's this generations Toyota Altezza. Especially in Zambia
Muli bwangi
Last🤣
As a Jamaican I owned a mark x for 4 years and it was the best car I owned . Very reliable and comfortable not to mention when you put your foot to the gas pedal it does respond. Mine was a four wheel drive though and I didn’t regret it
Watching from jamaica 🇯🇲 one of our favorite mark x it on the crown
💯 thanks for watching
Come to Jamaica and do a vlog on them there’s a lot of fast once’s here NA , turbo , supercharged you name it it’s here
Would love that eh
which is right!
fast?? loll

As a youth Inna Jamaica having one of these cars yuh get nuff pumpum 😂
Jook the pumpum with the cobra
Yeah yeah dat a true nuff pumpum😂😂😂
The Mark X is popular in my country 🇿🇲, Mozambique, Pakistan, Jamaica and a few other countries. The supercharged 2gr and limited manual version are difficult to find.
First thing im jamaican and im glad to finally see videos like this ‼️ big up 🇯🇲
lol as a bimmer driver I still respect the acknowledgment for the people on the island pushing the platform forward. 🇯🇲
once you go bimmer you just cant drive anything else. I've had an e34, e30, e31 and an e46. rolling the e46 now, but im getn old, tired of fixing my cars. plus japan makes it really difficult to have a old car. so im gonna get a honda. not happy .
You need to review a crown athlete now. 🔥🔥🔥🇯🇲🇯🇲
I’ve don’t quite a few crowns 👑 check out my channel
I went with a Crown Hybrid (GWS204), and love it to bits, but if I was a younger man, I think the Mark X is really where it's at. That 0-100 was extremely impressive.
The crown is awesome too
@AvenirRacing dude how is the battery of your crown holding up? I'm keen on getting one but with the batteries being 12+ years old, wondering if they've lost too much capacity?
@@byrondeif they haven't already been replaced in Japan, they'll need it. You're looking at about $4k
@@byronde The individual cell is the same as the ones in Camry hybrids and Prius, the Crown has more cells and total votage is 288v.
@@byronde Honestly, I've already had the P0A7F code twice lmao. Clear it and keep going. I've budgeted for a replacement, and the car is still driving effortlessly, I've just been lazy. But if you buy one, get a new battery ordered asap. Mine is fine most of the time currently, but it does drain very, very quickly (in traffic, it'll drop from 80% to 10% within 400 meters.)
I'll be ordering from InfiniteEV - $4,220, shipped, supplied, fitted+labor, and old battery disposed of, including decent warranty. Not too bad.
We do love the mark x in Jamaica, TH-cam recommended it because it knows I love mark x content
They make supercharged versions of the mark x from factory but really hard to source though
One of the best reviews I've ever seen for a Toyota Mark X. I subscribed. Respect from Jamaica 🇯🇲 🔥🔥
Crown and Mark x are the most popular cars in suriname 🇸🇷❤
Fr bro 🇸🇷
Interesting and amazed to see all the cars we didn’t get here in the states. It’s one thing to not get them but it’s another to not even KNOW about them 😧
Their are a lot of hidden gems
U damn right…am living in America now..& I really don’t care too much for no damn electric vehicle anyway I luv my Toyota & Lexus products thats all I drive..& I luv their Hybrids too..but now am driving the last of their V6 models 22 Lexus RX350 really nice 😁am Jamaican too
no one wants EV🤢
The Mark X is no secret...these beauties are popular all over Japan and in parts of the Carib. By far one of my favorite looking Toyotas since the X130 came out.
Interesting review on the Mark X. I really like that it is rear wheel drive. They would be a much better handling car than the standard Camry. It’s a shame they didn’t release them here. It’s a good looking car. Far more interesting than the boring EVs and SUVs. How has our choice of car become so limited as time goes on?
Absolutely Peter the car industry is dying quickly 🥲
we need to boycott all ev’s
They drive similar to BMWs it's really a Japanese 3series great car.
@@rokusentertainment5787 more lik 5 series.. too big n boat like
It is always interesting to learn about a car that I've never heard of.
They are a cool car
And the 500 grim..markx supercharge 360 hp six speed tops out at 260km..those hard to get now in any country, mostly in Asian market
I am glad you did this.
I'm impressed man not bad at all & I like the looks, nice one buddy & congrats on 70k subs Johnny let's gooo 👍
Thanks 👍 always a legend Pete
big up mi g love from JA a fiwi car dat fi true dung a jamaica.
🇯🇲🤝
Respect from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Subscribed
👏 mad respect
Jamaica #1 Car 🇯🇲
It comes with a six speed manual. Jamaica real loves this car. It started with the Mark II. In Jamaica they can build this to 1000hp if you have the money.
In Jamaica my brother has a 2013 gs 250. Very nice car. Burns fuel way too high. What we do here is tune them for better fuel economy and higher power with better pedal and gear switch response time. I must say though, when you clean up one of these its a reallll beauty
Thanks for sharing brother
I was looking to get one of these but ultimately went with an IS F when one came up for a good price.
*also it's G's, not GS. Later replaced with GR Sport.
Although I love these cars, the ISF is probably the better choice mate lol
I would have an isf over this but it’s more money remember
Awesome review man i have a 2009 Toyota Mark X 350S and love it definitley quick and suprises the holden and ford owners the 2GRFSE is seriously impressive the thing i like the most is they have alot more room than the IS350 and also weigh only 1550KG compared to the 1620KG IS350 every bit helps aye haha
They are really cool no idea why I don’t see more on the road!
Do these come with a Lsd or are they a open diff?
@@lukemothug open diff unfortunatley
These are quite popular in Jamaica and the Caribbean. I remember i rode in one before migrating and it was awesome
Great review🔥🇯🇲👊🏽
Thanks 💯
for such a slouch box that's a great 0-100 time! didnt even know these were RWD. Now someone just needs to lend you an RV37 400R as I think these have been slept on too.
It goes alright eh! Pretty impressive car
Needs a ZF gear box
Looks amazing! That 3.5 litre V6 is one mean mother!
Not much happens under 4k.
It sure is!
Awesome Review Johnathan. If you possibly can you should try the gsv50r sportivo 2012-2017 they’re a fun and pretty quick car!
I’d love to try one of them also!
Love c ya do a caldina from overseas. Had a 2.oo no turbo n was good wagon. Cheers
Top of the line is the Mark X GRMN. Those came with factory carbon top and 6MT with more aggresive tune and better suspensions.
They came out after this I believe
@@RossReviewsau yep, and I believed there is more than one that was imported.
Also very populair in Suriname 🇸🇷 🫶🏾 also the crown
Although mine is the 250G version.....I love it for the agility it presents on country roads in NZ. Would definitely snap up the 350S if one was available 🙏
Good choice!
The Crown Athlete also very awesome. Mark II, Mark X, Chaser, Brevis, Verossa, Blade very common in Suriname. Mark X especially used as getaway car by cr!m!nals....but now an ordinary Vitz (not GS or RS) has become more popular as getaway car.
The previous model mark x offer a 3gr-fse supercharged option with 235kw in 3ltr form very rare vehicle in aus though
Cool
Driven one of these before, exact same spec. Such a cool car, very stylish and quite quick. if the gearbox was a bit more responsive this would be a damn weapon. Always love the rants about the EVs tho cos i agree so much 😂
Appreciate it dean
Well you just got a new sub 🇯🇲🔥🔥
Yeah im from Jamaica and yes it very popular here..
They are really popular in jamaica and other Caribbean countries
Here in Jamaica I have the black in this specific mark x with sun roof and it’s pretty fast
Very nice brother
Bro in Jamaica we even have the (+M) modalesta version 355hp that’s like the m5 competition if the mark x 🔥
Been intrested in one of these for quite a while to replace my '10 BMW 335i M sport. Quick, reliable and practicle, something I cant say for the Bimmer.
These are very reliable and still a bit of fun
That’s a nice ride was impressed that a car like that hits 100 kilometres an hour so fast for a Toyota
Agreed! Pretty impressive
The best I've seen is low 5s. Remember Ross said the transmission is slow, which is correct. So with a bit more teak, low 5s is possible...
Just a heads up, the 2015 Aurion models has a button to turn off traction control. I know you already reviewed a TRD & the older standard ATX 40 series model. But if you could, give the 50 series Aurion a try, especially the sportivo version. It's quicker, handles better, and it's faster than the older series.
True haven’t tested a new one yet thanks for the info
Mark x is popular where I'm from. Pretty cool cars. Old school mark 2's too with 2jz
Thats a nice ride!, sounds good too👍🏾
It sure is
These are very popular in the Caribbean and certain parts of Africa
There is an higher trim version to this which would be the Mark-X GRMN, that one as better aero, brakes, suspension and is equipped with a six manual transmission.
Would love to see that rare model
Is it also supercharged from factory?
@@lukemothug No it's engine is naturally aspirated.
The is also the modelisa that is superchaged from factory
@motorsportmagazineja5853 nice to know!
Ever been to Jamaica ? these are some of the most sought after vehicles because of the engine size and comfort available
Mark X+Roland = BEAST!!!!
They do have a supercharged from factory mark x but shii is extremely rare I can’t even find a video of them only documentation 😅
And manual I believe also 👀 very rare
@@RossReviewsaucouple of them here in Jamaica one is currently for sale
When i find back the video i will send to you...i saw a black one with the supercharger🥰
Toyota got so much cool shit I heard about this car when it came out and I said to myself this is it. This is the best more recent modern four-door sedan you can get from JAPAN.
they really do have so many great sedans
How viable are these automatic cars for drifting? Like will the transmission be able to take the abuse or nah? Because I know some people run automatic toyota chasers are they're okay but can't maintain the drifts
Watching from Kenya 🇰🇪
Jamaican friends recommend me watching this video, truly amazing 🔥 love from jamaica
Bad man ting lololol.jaustrailian ting bredda.bless up
The Mark X 350s are very popular in Jamaica
Install some aftermarket coil overs to get rid of the body roll and some good quality tires (Pilot Sport 4S) and it would improve pretty much all it's dynamic flaws by the sound of things.
def would help
Every body loves these in Jamaica 🇯🇲
And everybody hates them too 😂
I HATE them, too common, this trend needs to die, we should be seeing dodge viper’s and 90’s sports cars on the road more often💀🇯🇲
@@cyberdannydmorgan5863 go buy some then.
Damn I’m early, would you consider travelling?? I have a vf Peter brock edition (supercharged ls2 780rwhp) and a fg mk1 turbo 680hp
whats a peter brock edition VF? worked at holden and never heard of it. HDT blue meanie?
@@dw2176 pretty much a group a hdt but came with a Peter brock certification apparently 1 of 30
Shoot me a message on fb or Insta!
I didn't know VF used the LS2? Explain more
@@BrickLayingStudthe s1 vf came with the 6L
Interesting and informative 🇯🇲 💯
Big up, thanks
I like the way they look after 2010, but damn I wish they came with the 3.5L and awd system that the is350's awd got. I live in Canada and want one for a daily. I don't want the 2.5L awd.
Tuning capabilities are limited with the 2gr-fse,not to be confused with the 2gr-fe which is in the aurion here in Aus,..The supercharged trd aurion had to be detuned to 242kw because anything close to 300kw they were destroying bottom ends ...The motors are ridiculously expensive to build up to handle the power ...It's a massive reason I didn't buy one myself, because they visually are one of my fav jdm cars
I’ve seen it im Jamaica 🇯🇲 500hp you can look it up.. I’m sure they spent decent coin tho
@@RossReviewsau yea to build them also a country that probably has a massive aftermarket capability, cheaper parts
1fse is already at 770whp😂😂
Oh yes, they are very popular in Jamaica
🇯🇲🫡
What transmission does it use for the manual. Cant seem to find it anywhere mark x is a wicked car
Wikipedia.
Nah fi ask if TH-cam recommended this to you🇯🇲
Mark X, Crown and BMW the trending cars right now
2:04 I’m in NY. I was just bout to say, homie on the wrong side of the road. 🤣🤣🤣
Come to Jamaica bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’ve been to Kingston once before.. awesome place
They have a version with a manual gearbox?
How do you order it
these things are everywhere in New Zealand, as common as a corolla
Really 👀
Yea, a lot of mid 2000s models around. Peeps have them sacked out with rims. Never understood the appeal but now I do. Great video
They're worshipped in Jamaica 🇯🇲... Especially by the young popular and out going youths!
😂
Mad respect to Jamaica 🇯🇲 👏
These are good, I prefer to shift with the lever rather than the paddles, you don't notice the latency as much, I prefer the is350 or gs350 but they're all good dailies, and pretty quick around town.
They are cool daily’s for sure
Caribbean rocking x chassis for decades
You should do a review of a Nissan fuga any of them
Most definitely, I've got one and love it :)
I’d like to they are cool also
Weh the Jamaican?🇯🇲
Let’s go 🫶
Yea national car🇯🇲😂😂

Nice review,my favorite car 😅😍
Thanks 😃
As a Jamaican, I approve this video naa mean 😎.
Hear this, there is the: TOYOTA MARK X GRMN very rare and it's a manual straight from factory. Review that if you can, big up yuhself. We a skate pon ee toll down yah inna mark x! 😎🔥
Glad you approves bro
Hands down the best 👌🏼 sleeper and underrated car those are faster than the g35 and actually faster than the is350 counterpart and lighter....i missed my mark x...ive had the g35 with the de and HR motor but the mark x 350s is very impressive and can take a beating with that 2gr-fse motor and can handle great power with nos or supercharger...but its hard to tune...I'm from the Bahamas and i was the first in the Bahamas to ever modify a mark x...
Younl also have a GRMN edition from these (manual)
No disappointment over here🔥🇯🇲
Looks soooo nice. Would be interested importing one myself and putting a cheeky supercharger on it 😂
That would be cool!
Tom's supercharger was a factory option, 360hp/500Nm. There are a few imported here
Just a heads up, your call to subscribe at 7:51 made me think the video was over.
Really 😅
1:37 As a Infiniti G37s owner this sounds crazy similar to a VQ37, just less trumpet-y lol
