One thing I admire about you is your ability to go up to people and talk lol. I have terrible social anxiety but its really neat seeing you go up and ask people if they have had any luck or what they might be using, just being friendly and learning from the locals. I always try to go fishing when nobody is there so i dont have to talk to people XD
Somehow the two people above me used different "there/their" and they were both wrong. "They're" is the correct one by the way. (It's the shortened version of "They are") "There" is for location and "Their" is for ownership. :)
great video mate love these style of videos, where you chat/talk to the locals your a great communicator, how great is it to see kids out fishing and not on xbox/phone etc I count to 7 with live bait before I start reeling in! sometime longer if i have im using a circle hook, a circle hook is designed to roll in the fishs mouth till it pentrates something striking more often than not pulls the hook out!
If you want better odds for a hookup on livebait tie a snell knot and leave plenty of excess line from that knots tag end and tie a seperate hook on with a simple uni knot, then you wont have to decide where the hook goes on a livey which i can see is causing you some strife, hope this comments helps in the future, better get a big one 💪🎣
i love how you interact with everyone, but when everyone’s getting excited yelling and running on the jetty making loud noises may make it hard for fish to want to eat. But keep doing what your doing
Nice mate! I go Busso Jetty all the time, best spots for squid would be just past the bend onwards. Let the jig sink for 15-20 seconds then 2-3 big lifts of the rod and repeat.

Theres a fix for your drag not clicking, take your spool off and look at the little springy metal bit (located inside/under the spool) that hits the cog wheel (connected to the spool rod on the reel) that creates the drag sound. Check that the spring on the small piece of metal is still springing properly or isn't missing, and that the metal bit under the spool isn't missing, sometimes they can fall out.
