LOVE how you tied that dropper loop. Also, looks like that's fluoro and not mono? And then, on the clinch knot on the clip, as you're feeding the tag end back through the 2nd loop above, I assume you're making sure it goes back in the same direction as the mainline, and not crossing it? I've always heard that was important? Anyway, thanks! One of my winter projects will be building a rig board. :-)
I use mono for my leaders. Yes I put the tag through in the same direction, it naturally goes that way. I am sure i have made these while on the beach and have gone in the reverse direction it will still does the job
I have trouble with braid to mono or braid to flouracarbon. I'm not sure if i have tried a uni knot. Sometimes, i put a bead inbetwwen barrel swivel and main line, so i don't real in too far. I will try the uni next time
@@longislandfishing1970 thank you so so much! I watched your channel as much as John skinner. As a fellow long islander I always appreciate people who give good advice

Where did you get those teasers? They look great!
Most bait and tackel have them. I get mine from causeway bait and tackle and at dicks sporting goods store
Best video on this!
@penny2cocoa1 too kind, thank you
Thank You for your Video.
WHAT ABOUT BLUE FISH?
Did they attack teaser and you can lose your lure?
Oh yes, nothing is safe from blue fish. I haven't lost many teasers to them, but they have certainly trimmed the bucktail hair and damaged the leader.
Nice setup
I use a uni to tie in my leader to my main line. Saves my inserts on my pole top eye when I reel up to far

The nail anchor is clever!
Thank you
Do you ever get line twist using this setup?
@jny78 not often depends on the surf conditions. What a can say that iss 100% I catch half my fish on diamond jig and half on the teaser. It works.
