Imo I think the World cup should be held in a country that is actually passionate about football. In Qatar barely anyone goes to watch their club or their national team play ever. Qatar has a population of 2-3 million people with around 500k of them being Qatari. Whilst sure they aren't good at football, they're learning and the people are extremely open. Qatar isn't like Saudi Arabia or most other Arab countries. It's diverse and well respected. You can't hate on them for having the money to host one of the best world cups to this day.
