Realist Cybertruck review I've seen so far. I get mine on Tuesday, so you put some pressure on me to do something different lol. Great job from another 50 year old black man. Salute
Congrats! There's actually quite a few of us. Took delivery of my Cyberbeast last week, as my state just started deliveries. According to my SC they said I'm the first Beast delivery in my state. Tint done, PPF and calipers are scheduled for two weeks from now. I've had a few sets of forged wheels staged at home for months, but they won't fit until substantial lift kits are made available.
yeah man. when i look at CT reviews I don't see us represented much so I had to jump on out there. I know we will continue to get deliveries but not everyone loves the camera like I do. :-) I'm in the DC area so maybe we an link one day.
Big congratulations on the Cybertruck! 🍾🥂 I live in Memphis where more and more African Americans are driving electric, especially Teslas, I see a lot of Teslas on the roads here, but not half as many as I have seen in Vegas, Dallas, LA, Nashville and even in Manhattan in NYC. While I may see 20 to 30 in a day here, it’s too many to count in those areas. Our Tesla store here has about 50 Cybertrucks and the Tesla rep there told me that they all are waiting deliveries. So it won’t be long until till we see them on the streets here.
Exactly. I bought my first Tesla back in early 2017 and I was the only person of color in my area that had one. So it seemed like it was more of a culture for the majority instead of us on the minority side. Now that we realize that these vehicles are attainable, I love to see more of us out there representing this electric vehicle culture.
I'm in Knoxville TN and got some hate from a former co-worker when he saw me in a MYP.. And I quote.. YOU'RE driving a Tesla?!? Congrats on the CT ..Im about to trade and there are so many options now. Im not sure which vehicle I'm gonna get.. BTW I am the lead guitarist in a local rock band!
I have had my Cybertruck since Valentine's Day and the trolls on the internet don't leave their keyboards. Every person I have met in real life are very polite and I have had great conversations. I am a teacher and I get the "what do you do for a living?" question a lot. I have never been that asked that question by a stranger before this truck. I am getting mine wrapped Obsidian Red tomorrow. Like to see videos that a fair without click bait titles about how the truck is rusting or chopping carrots in half.
Congrats! Just waiting on my vin.....order placed in March. I am also going to spray the bedliner. Would love to see the finished product when you get yours done.
Congratulations 🎉, I think we all need to be driving Tesla's for safety from accidents and police issues. Having 8 cameras looking out for you in case of emergencies 🔥🔥🔥. Yes your honor this officer is lying here is the video and stats from my Tesla!
@@spke532 ok? Because they choose to ride around in chargers and Camero’s. That’s the problem right there. Every other race doesn’t feel the need to put their race ahead of every single thing, while on the other hand….im happy for you and your success but know because there are not certain reviews done by black Americans, it’s not a direct target toward you.
You don't have to agree with my perspective. Thank you for chiming in nonetheless. I am giving my perspective as a black cyber truck owner. We're not talking about the issues of other races. But if you look at all the other cyber Truck reviews very few are from a black person's perspective. This country is 12% African-American. Our viewpoint is rarely seen, unless it's sports or rap music. Why not bring the attention to election vehicles.
@@LP10777 For starters, interesting that you chose to choose two stereotyped vehicles as the basis of your point. Personally, I hate both of those cars. Anyway, I get where you’re coming from, it was probably unnecessary for him to add that this was from a “brothas” perspective. The same way it’s probably unnecessary for other TH-camrs to add that their cyber truck reviews are from the perspective of a “real trucker” or an “old person”. I’ve even seen on Twitter someone go as far as to say, the perspective of a gay man. The reason why we see such titles, is because we’re all different as human beings, each with their own unique perspectives. And there are groups of people in the world that have similarities and relate with others. For example, without even watching the completion of this video, one of the points I’m sure he’s going to mention, is how is the bass of the speakers? That may not be as important to you, but is very important to a lot of of us in our culture. An audiophile would probably prefer a more flat and neutral frequency response to the speakers. Like you said, it doesn’t always have to be about race, and the video isn’t about that. It’s coming from a person from a group and informing them if a certain product is for them

Keep rocking my man! Haters going to hate, but all we can do is rise above it, but don't forget that it is still out there.

How are people affording this truck in this economy?!!
gotta save up. i don't have million of followers to pay me. :-)
A “brothas” perspective? Really? Is that really necessary.
Necessary to me because most of these reviews are not from a black owners perspective. And trust me there is a difference.

Not sure why anyone is taking offense to this
