Sir, thank you for producing such good quality material. It’s one thing to be a skilled angler, but a whole different level to incorporate such good camera work, overlay of bite timers, music, and consolidation of video feed with slow-motion and underwater shots. Good talent deserves commendation. Well done!
Side note - you inspired me to try that recipe and I am seriously looking forward to it. God bless you!

Thanks Patrick, that means a lot I appreciate you saying that. It's nice to hear that people appreciate it. Makes it so I can't put videos out very frequently since I work a full time job also, but comments like this make it worth it. Hope you enjoy that risotto! Make sure you start cooking early, it will take a while!

I've got to say, I enjoy watching and fish for redfish in shallow water. Especially with it being colder weather they'll be sunning themselves in shallows chasing shrimp. It's a blast seeing that boil in 8-12 inches of water slamming a vudu shrimp.

Great video! I really enjoy all your sheepshead catch videos. I like seeing any video you make where you try new techniques aimed at sheepshead. For example when you showed us how to make oyster balls utilizing spawn netting. That was a great substitute when I couldn't get fiddlers.

Definitely one of my most favorite fishing channels you're the only one that I seen that does the Bite timer and most of all you don't do a lot of screaming and yelling like a little girl when you catch a fish or do a lot of clowning around and acting goofy . You actually fish and that's what the audience comes for ...or make up a dozen excuses when you miss a fish or say crap like that was the biggest one of the day when you do miss one ...thanks for sharing stay safe can't wait till the next one.. ... Hey brother, I want my name in the pot 4 sure for the giveaways.....you've inspired me a lot to get back fishing for sheepshead, I grew up fishing the Cooper when the old bridge was still standing, but the whole scheme has changed dramatically since then, but you've given me hope over the last year watching , I've adapted everything from you man, from the rod & reel to the the bait you use,( still waiting for my pocket to swell so I can afford that pedal kayak, what an advantage🤣🤣), and BTW, your filming is so dramatic, its like you have your own small crew on the water.....Sooooo good to watch brother. (West of Ashley, Daniel Island, Hanahan, Kiawah Island, etc.) And my favorite hamburger in the world is at the Swig and the Swine. That burger alone is worth the 6 hour drive! 😂
Risotto- Eaten it, never made it. I’ve got a trip planned for the Everglades, so after seeing you make it, looks like the perfect side dish for a health conscious buddy of mine if I leave out the cheese and add mushrooms or tiny shrimp.

You can definitely see the bite better from the side as you expected. Good shots for newer sheep fisherman to learn from. You can talk about it and see it as much as you want though, whole different world when your pulling up empty hooks and you literally felt no weight change.

Awesome video as always! Did that new camera boom keep you from going under the docks as usual? Just picked up a couple packs of the sheep sticker jigs, can’t wait to try them out. Do you have a preference as far as the color of them or do you let the water clarity dictate that? Thanks!

Thanks Zig! I had to push it back out of the way to go under the docks at times haha and honestly I've caught them on every color I've tried. My confidence colors seem to be the more natural ones like white, green, and black. But I've used all sorts of colors. Hope you have some goodluck with the new jigs!

Nice vid, per usual. Already subbed and always like the vids, so commenting to enter the giveaway.
I may be boring, but I like the generic videos of you doing what you do best - dock fishing for sheepshead. I would watch vids where you use artificials, but enjoy the dock fishing more than anything. Catch and cook is a bonus I enjoy, but not the reason I would watch.

We are not that far from each other and my current runs like crazy here in GA. How far inland are you going to get away from the current or how are you going about it ?

As a Charleston native myself, and new to the kayak fishing scene, I learn a lot of techniques and styles from your videos. You always seem to find em even in this cold weather. Keep up the good vids! 👍

Would like to know what state you are in. And if you can go after sea bass or tautog. Thanks.

I'm in South Carolina! People do catch the occasional striper or the exceedingly rare Tog down this way but it hardly ever happens. We have freshwater striper on the lakes and I go up to New Englad and fish a couple times a year. I'd love to get some Tog next time!
