    I like your upbeat attitude towards things Chris . I've watched some vids and they get down in the dumps after having a couple of flat tyres during the day . I Enjoy hitting the dirt roads roads on my postie bike . Now I'm thinking pushbike . Enjoy yourself .

    Shouldn’t have been that hard to get some water. And I thought country people were suppose to be friendly! Has been a great series Chris, good to see you back out on the bike making quality videos.

    • @ChrisRishworth

      There is a drought there & I really do respect that. I could feel the vibe as soon as I walked into that pub & asked the question about water. 99% are friendly as you have seen in the previous videos. I probably could have done what I've seen other cyclist do & put a big sign on my back please spare some water. I've met a few cyclist in remote places that do this & travelling tourist always give them water they have told me in the past. It's ok just means I'll be back to complete the north at a later date.

      I stayed at Moolooloo station back in April 2017. The following morning it poured turning the road into a river. Get pretty hairy on that rough track back to Blinman. I guess that was a rare event

    • @ChrisRishworth

      It's the Gopro 7 black. With the chest mount its close to your mouth. In the past I've had handle bar mounts & they have lots of wind noise & you can't here me speak. The chest mount works best for speaking & riding.

  • @clayguinard3651

    and I noticed a lot of people over where you are have those extra wheel trailers or whatever and my question is always how come you don't end up getting a bicycle trailer the reason I say that because your ability to carry more and a wider variety of things being a two-wheel trailer I'm just wondering why people don't do that over there

    • @ChrisRishworth
      @ChrisRishworth  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Simple reason is drag with two wheels is a lot more drag. On the highway one wheel trailer just follows straight behind you. When there's lots of traffic one wheel trailer feels safer. It can carry 35 kgs which is enough.They are my reasons.

    Sir, what's the reason that you bought a fat bike? Because it's heavy for touring 😚

    • @ChrisRishworth
      @ChrisRishworth  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mostly for sand riding where skinny tyres don't work. I've been stuck on sand and bull dust. So I decided to go fat. Yes much slower on normal roads but can go place normal bikes just can't.😃

    And the reason I ask is because I'm trying to decide what I want a fat-tire recumbent trike or a fat-tire diamond bicycle diamond frame bicycle as I should say

    • @ChrisRishworth
      @ChrisRishworth  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I looked into the Fat bike trikes & there price was very high. They probably would be more combortable to ride. I wouldn't like riding in thraffic on one. I just bought a ExtraWheel trailer "Mate" so I can carry lots more water. Good luck on you choice.
