The Miserable Failure that is Hasbro Starting Lineup: Feat. Trae Young. Still think I love these.

So my local Ollie's had a few Starting Lineup basketball players and the Basketball Backboard stands so I grabbed a few, fully aware that this is a legendary failure of a product for Hasbro Corp, and thusly not expecting much from them.
Man, I love these. Or at least I love Trae as he's the only one I've opened so far but I can't imagine the rest will be less fun to play with. If they had come in at a reasonable price point I think they might've had a chance, but at fifty bucks, pretty much dead on arrival.

Dude I wanted these when they dropped but was not paying that kind of money…found them at Ollie’s $8 a piece haha I’ll buy for that ashame they didn’t work out. If price was much cheaper these would be awesome

Yeah, it's a shame these flopped because these were awesome figures with plenty of accessories as well as a nice collector card. Only one I want to still find is Giannis, at $7.99 at Ollie's these are amazing value. Major bummer that we probably won't get anymore figures, would have definitely picked up Ant Man, Joker, and Wemby. Also would've picked up a few QBs like Mahomes & Burrow if they did NFL figures.

I have a bunch of new stock NBA and NHL starting lineup sets from the 90s. I buy them on eBay for $10-$20

@@thediscountactionfiguredude I'm not too sure. I do know that the tattoo artist who did the tattoos for the wrestler Randy Orton sued 2k Games 2 years ago I think. And only got about 3 grand
