Thanks, Byron, for the followup. I wasn't sure if the video had been edited in some way. What I was most curious about was that spectators didn't seem to notice the error (the video had sound but there didn't seem to be any chatter about the call). You have a sterling reputation; I certainly don't mean to sully that. How would you feel, or would it be appropriate for a spectator to interject? Might the five of you benefitted from someone else reminding you who served?

Glen starts serving but ref gives first point to receiving team (after side out)? Or am I missing something?

No, You are not missing anything. That was a screw-up on my part. After a long day, I, and somehow so did the players, thought that Steve had served the first point. One of those human errors. I told the players afterwards about the mistake. When mistakes like these happen, I get really pissed at myself. However, I have to put it into perspective in that I am going to make a mistake once in awhile.
