- I bought a Mercedes-Benz 180D in 2004 for spare parts and parked it in the shed after changing the engine oil. Nobody has even looked at a car built in 1958 since then. As the building was dilapidated, it had to be demolished and the Pontoon would be left without a roof on its head. That's why I put "tajletreger" "on the drum". It only took two days for the first customer to arrive. When he heard how smoothly the engine was running, he promised to return with the trailer. And he did. The old Mercedes is under the roof again and waiting for better times. The new owner also has some oldtimer projects in his plans. I keep my fists up to make them come true.

The OM 636 was almost indestructable.But in case it needed overhaul I remember that one had to take the piston/connecting rod assembly out in the opposite direction compared to more 'recent' engines.The conrod bearing housing was larger than the cylinder bore.

(edit) The body looks like a 190 by the way,judging from the radiator grill and the steering wheel.The 190 was already fitted with the OM 621.But correct me if I'm wrong.
You are right, in Slovenia and former Yugoslavia they wanted to have diesels due to lower consumption. So they got rid of petrol engines and it is very hard to find an original car, especially a petrol one.

Prvo pohvale za vaš kanal je zelo zanimiv . Avto ki stoji toliko let pa prosim v prihodnosti, če boste imeli še kakega ne vžigat takole, na horuk,.. Na ta način se lahko naredi škoda na motorju, na boš pumpi,...
Se prej naredi par pomembnih zadev,... vžiganje pa pride na koncu na vrsto, pozdrav in brez zamere.
Seveda ni zamere. Ampak, ko sem videl, da se motor še vedno zavrti ...

@@gve7569 entra en Mercado libre .uy . fijate el 170 es mas dificil pero hay los 180 y 190 son diesel y fueron taxi .y son mas comunes.

Pozdrav. OM 636 ima 34 KS na 3.000 obrtaja, ja imam traktor sa takvim motorom. U automobilima je koliko znam motor imao 3.500 obrtaja i 43 KS.
