I work in a library and have an access to an abundance of used books and magazines for gluebook and collage! I love it!
I used to work in a library too!! Thanks for watching!
Oh my gosh, now I just have to find that old Street Directory I couldn’t bear to throw out. Let the fun begin!
Haha!! Love it! Thanks for watching!
I found this really good thanks, I buy books from thrift stores, we call them op shops in Australia, opportunity shops.
Anyway I am always bringing home books. Your vid has directed my choices in a better way.
Also it seems to be hard to find books with illustrations instead of photos where I am, which is annoying.
Thx again
Yes, I do a lot of searching myself. Keep on the look out!!
Hunting for books to use is an absolute favourite thing to do. I need to use them faster than I collect, though. 🥴 Thank you for sharing your book haul. It was great to see inside them.
I have that same problem!! Haha. Thank you for watching!
I’m new to all this I have loads of crafts but new to Ephemera and journaling when I think I gave away a few months ago to my local library 75 books I could weep lol
Oh no! If I had a nickel for all the stuff I gave away before I started junk journaling!!
Great video! I would love to see a video on how you use these images. :)
Interesting idea! I will think on that one!! Thank you for watching!
This so cool! I’ve been working on collages using books from my local half price book store and magazines, but I’d love to have it as a more organized thing the way you do!
Wasn’t sure if this was going be of interest, glad it was!! It’s interesting to me, anyway. Lol
I am going cut up an old atlas to use for a travellers notebook.
That’s awesome! Happy crafting!!
The thrift stores near me have very few reference books. I am on the lookout for old field guides, but those are hard to find. Wish I could find selections like you have. Tfs.
It’s hit or miss, but I have better luck in rural areas and estate sales, plus I shop once a week.
I stumbled across this video and had to chuckle to myself when I saw The Last Two Million Years book! I hauled that book in August too!! Tons of great pictures in that one. Also, it has a section in the back I got tons of tiny images to make tons of faux stamps!!😄❣
Oh wow! That’s crazy!! Thank you for watching!
Lots of great ideas 😉 Thx a bunch 💕
Thank you for watching!!🌺🌸
Reader's Digest books are free or cheap at library sales. Tina, Al's wife
Thank you for the tip!! ❤️
I found this video very interesting thank you.
Good to hear! Thank you for watching!
Very interesting video
Thank you!
Great video! Just curious, what got you into looking for ephemera?
Gosh I think I have loved that stuff my whole life. I have a hard time remembering not loving it, even as a kid I collected papers. Then I started scrapbooking and then started decorative collage, then discovered other people were doing that and were calling it junk journaling. So it gave me a great excuse to collect even more papers! I regularly cut up catalogs and magazines as a kid.
I love you “eye for books”. Thanks for the video. Very enjoyable.
Thank you!
