I really enjoyed all of the details and seeing others just use “stuff” ..teaching others you don’t have to have all of the fancies, just our daily toss away items…. Just have fun…enjoy the process!
Hi, love your ideas and it doesnt have to be an expensive hobby. Thre is FREE STUFF everywhere :) I use some the things you have and they are great. Keep enjoyirng this fun craft 😆
Very good points. You can use just about anything in a junk journal that's small enough including dimensional items on covers, or as pockets/ cases on the interior. So much available around us to already use. A great showing here. Thanks for posting.
Thank you Selina for your kind words! I don't think it's clever.... It's more courage to explore and try new things. Before JJ, I never would have done this! 😜
Love this, Thank you so much for all these good ideas. I will be running a series of junk journaling workshops this summer for teens at my library and I am binge watching so many videos. ^_^ Yours are most helpful.
Other great place for freebies or cheap items are garage sales or library book day sales and especially op shops or even estates sales, and I sometimes find old postcards from Societies that have Ephemera Sales. There is one here in Sydney, it may not be convenient for others interstate or overseas, but there must be something similar where you are.
Must look into Societies. Thank you for the tip. I love op shops and libraries. But atm thanks to you, I am fairly stocked up. Need to use them up before buying more!!!
Your channel is very unique and I am drawn to your JJ style. I don't really care for the romantic/Victorian look. I haven't bought much ephemera--I've collected a lot over the years and that was one of the reasons I wanted to start JJ.
Thank you for your kind words. So glad you have found something useful. Really had no expectations - just sharing my journey. Glad you can use your collection in your journal. Enjoy🎉
@onbeingwhole - thank you everyone for your support for my channel 🌻🌻🌻
@onbeingwhole What other recycle ♻️ items do you like to use? Do you prefer to buy ephemera?
