I'm a year late, but I have to say this is one of the best sim racing guides I've watched. You explain the reasons for your advice so we can actually understand, instead of saying, "We need to turn in here niiiicely." The structure is the classic presentation composition and it's exactly what it should be. Introduction (showing us the track), details, and a summary of everything to make sure we remember. Thank you for the excellent guide!
Nice instructions. I'm struggling to get under 1.41.8 average is 1.43-45. This is a very hard track to lay down the rubber and the typical McLaren 720s Evo snap the G923 doesn't give Ny warning, I love your videos and the excitement of ACC. Your a legend and part alien ❤
The reason the infield is so slippery and has low grip is because it uses a different and older surface asphalt than the oval. The oval is resurfaced for the Indy 500 whereas the infield hasn't been resurfaced in a longer time.
It is very helpful your in car from the races is also very helpful. At first Indy looks boring but the more you drive it the more you realize there is a lot to it and it is very challenging to go fast. Very challenging!
My house was struck by lightning and it fried my CSL DD and PC, and it happened days before this DLC came out so i havent been able to try it :(. But at least when I get all my stuff fixed i'll have some guides to watch!
I’ve just started to take ACC with a more serious approach (still a snail in comparison to most but getting better every session) because I got a Series X for xmas and can benefit from the new physics model but in the Merc with slightly tweaked aggressive setup I got high 1:39 within ten laps I know that’s miles off but it’s the best I can do so far. Edit - Having watched the first lap and without watching any track guides I was taking exact lines and almost exact gears. Only exception being 1st gear in T1 and the other sharp right with massive kerb.
Nice video. I love this track but I'm biased because I grew up only 30 minutes away from Indy. I think I like this layout more than the IndyCar road course or the (cursed) F1 layout.
Very helpful, I need this for COTA too! I tried it for the first time a few days ago and cried myself to sleep. That first sector... A small suggestion. Maybe pause the video at most crucial parts of the track and use overlay icons for braking points, track limits, dangerous kerbs etc.?
Looks like it's mid-point of the access road on the left. Don't see any visual markers on the right so if your sight is blocked on the left, kinda have to go by feel.
😆 Jards says "break at the Crowdstrike board, which he calls the hundred meter board." But if you look at the fence on the right it's clearly the 200 meter board. 🤣 Informative lap guide and a good laugh. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍

Laptimes around this track - high 33s/low 34s quali
Best cars - Ferrari, McLaren, Bentley, BMW
Let me know if this was helpful
Helpfull. Try to add some markings maybe
I'd be quite interested to know your ideal times for both GT3 and GT4 setups.

The consistency dureing the two hotlaps at the end is insane. Just watch that delta.
This is how a track guide should be made. Hope you do this with all your track guides. Very precise information. Thanks

oh wow :o
Thank god this series is back, as good a lap I can put in I’m always 1.5-2.5 seconds off the pace. The help is much appreciated :)
🤩🤩
2 seconds off jardier is not bad at all!! I'm always 3 seconds off haha
Just built a sim-pit and trying to learn ACC, massive thanks for the content, really useful!
of course it always helps to see the different lines and braking points, it's always interesting, thank you very much
I think this is the best track guide you have done. Thanks

Love your videos Jardier👏
Your videos are great, they are really useful for those who start driving with ACC. Thank you very much! Cheers from Bayern...
Good man! Thanks for this. Hot laps dont help most, but the guides help many!
Great guide Jardier. Good to know my line is pretty much like yours, I just need to work on consistency. Thanks
Thank you for the Track Guide Jardier, it's making me want to hook up my Wheel & Pedals and have a go on it now lol.
Good guide Jardier, thank you. I'm really struggling with this track for some reason. Too eager on the throttle and not enough patience I think.
very nice and understandable guide, thank you and keep it comming !!!

yeah can do next time! :)
nice video could you keep doing these and put them into a playlist it would be very helpful man
Best video I could find. Maybe finally I will learn some american tracks
Jardier! great vid! Were can i get that shirt !!!
With it being indy and in the United States. The break boards are probably in feet not meters.
I'm using always Ferrari on ACC for all circuits XD Also in Watkins Glen
I need an explanation why throttle and brake at the same time with this cars, i know why in go karts but I don't know when I should do it with gt3...
I'm waiting for GTR Indy guide 😂
Oh yessss
Is there any new career options with DLC
Very helpful! Question about braking for the second to last corner, do you use any visual markers, or do you just time it by "feel"?
Looks like it's mid-point of the access road on the left. Don't see any visual markers on the right so if your sight is blocked on the left, kinda have to go by feel.
yeah kinda go by the feel when track goes little to the left :)
Setup? 8 wing on McLaren?
max wing
Seeing Jards doing laps without speaking is weird XD. But love this Jardier, looking forward to many more to come. Helps soooooooo much!
I have to wait for the DLC on XBOX😪 but when it´s there i know what´s going on🙂 have a nice day.
