Big Pool Open for Adopted Rescue Dogs

- We’ve had a few really hot days here for Spring so the dogs have spent quite a bit of their time swimming in the big pool much to most of the pack’s delight. It’s a big favourite for many of our pack members. I have to admit, I watch them jumping with absolute joy and I cannot help but think how far they’ve come, how happy they are and how much they really do love their life together. It’s a truly beautiful thing. Thank you to you all for helping us help these dogs and give them this life.
At the end of the day Luke treats those that need some laser treatment. Again, thank you to those who contributed to this incredible gift. The dogs truly thank you too.
Miss Violet .💘. Words can't describe how much I love seeing that little pup, who walked in circles, fell down, got up, and adapted to overcome her disabilities, and is now enjoying her life to the fullest.💖💖💖💖
Auntie Sam an uncle Luke loved her whole, for herself. Falling asleep on walks so Uncle Luke would carry her. Such wonder. Thanks, you brought back magic in your words. Well said 🐶

Freddo is such a brave strong boy
Although it is upsetting to see Freddo distressed it is also pleasing to know that in his old age he couldn't be receiving better care & more love. I so think he realizes this. His love for Farm life (particularly in/around the pool) is beautiful to watch. I can't say I was surprised to hear that he was so staunch when Rosco approached after he was hurt. He is a proud dog who has done a good job of trying to control a big pack (with Luke's help). Leadership is something he clearly wants to hold onto & Luke is helping him to achieve this.♥
I've always loved watching the dogs leap into the pool, play with the toys, and chase the lure. They are truly living their best lives! Thank you so much, Sam and Luke!!!
Freddo's dock dive was spectacular. I remember waiting for his first dock dive and crying with joy when he did it.
Yup me too. It was a Tear jerker for sure...
It’s amazing how they all feared the water and now they can’t get enough. I remember Freddo also and it was especially brave since he previously “saved” Elle when swimming in the other pool. For me the crème de la crème was Miss Violet’s “splash” last summer, that little girl beat the odds and she lives her life without disability.
The Evans clan is something special for sure. ❤
@jeanniep1003 I totally agree with you. Yes, Freddo was afraid of the water but was going to save his little sister because he had found his family. Miss Violet is a beacon of hope and what can be achieved against the odds with love and determination.

I will never forget the video of when he was officially adopted. So many happy tears and tears of relief from the whole of the Farm’s global family that day. We love Freddo 💙🐾💙
@@jeanniemarsh7550I was thinking the very same thing as I was watching the love (and treatment) pouring into him near the end of the video. I think that that adoption video is still my favourite Farm video of all time (watched with plenty of happy tears).

Poor Freddo, older age just sucks. So tough when the mind is still on puppy mode and the body just doesn't recover the way it use to after a day of play. That relaxing heat treatment, gentle scratches and the support of his buddy Roscoe, is just what he needed.

Was it only a few months ago when Mama Sam had slight panic in her voice over Miss V in the pool? Look at her now! Such a treat to see the pool in action again. Abra found her perch again on Luke’s back. I’m glad his shirt and back stayed intact this time! Your care for all these pups is simply incredible! And Freddo was enjoying his therapy, especially since he had both of you all to himself! You are so loved and appreciated by all of us❤❤❤
I was thinking about that while watching Miss V battle it out with Rover and Rosco for a toy. She’s such a force of good in everything she does! Well except for keeping a 🐷 in one piece. Freddo was in OG form jumping and swimming today. I’m sorry he is so sore tonight. He seemed much more relaxed now that Mummy was there with him and giving him a scratch in all the favorite spots. Abra, I wondered if you were going to assume the perch on Luke’s back, answer in the affirmation as soon as the pool settled down a bit.. I was so happy to see Lily Girl out in the chase for the Big Ball. WTG Lily those treatments really seem to be making a big difference with her and now Freddo tonight. Love to you all, happy for your warmer weather. I’m so happy it’s cooling down in Las Vegas. Applause all around for the weather. ♥️♥️

This is so very beautiful and soothing to the soul. This is really what humans should be doing instead of chasing profits and GDP and growth and world domination. Being the most advanced species by such a distance, an alien would expect us to take care of the planet and all its other species.

I love how Roscoe comes over and lies down on the other side of Luke while Freddo is having his treatment. He is there for 2 reasons- 1) Freddo you can't have all the attention from Dad & 2) Roscoe to Freddo - Don't worry Bro I got your back, no one will step out of line.
I agree with what you said in #2. I had a feeling that Roscoe just wanted to be there for comfort to Freddo, even though Freddo himself was weary just because he's the leader of the pack, and as a pack leader, of course, you can't show weakness to the pack members.
You forget when you haven’t seen them swim for a while, but Rover is a GOD in the water!

Awesome video all throughout!! Thank you ❤ I’d have to say that the most tender moment of this was of course the end, with both Sam and Luke with Sir Freddo. Luke was giving him an infrared treatment, which probably felt good to Freddo after a long afternoon of fun & sun in the pool. And then the way Freddo was reacting to Sam’s caresses was just tear inspiring. He is so in love with, and so appreciative of his later in life family. I have no doubt that his natural life will be expanded because of this. He is truly happy throughout his heart & soul.
Yes I think he thoroughly enjoyed having Mum and Dad's attention all to himself. 💜

Watching Freddo dock dive like a puppy was great. I was worried that he would pay for all that fun later. I'm so glad you have the equipment to treat them immediately with the hope of extending that puppy-like pleasure. I love watching all the dock divers. They go at it with such joy! 🤟

Look at Rover he made the Farm his home from the first day he arrived. I am so glad Luke and Same decided to adopt him. Miss Violet does not care how big and heavy the other dogs are she is just as big and strong in her mind, I love it.

Awesome to see the dogs having such a great time in the pool. Very respectful too, that you Luke ensured Fredo got the toy, when all the young dogs were just blasting by him. Completely understandable that Fredo put on a brave face in front of his high ranking peer, bless him. He wanted to keep up that, I’m a tough dog and alpha image. I love watching Cutie-Pie pretend she is going to jump into the big pool! 🤣She sits with the group of big dogs looking up at Luke, twitching and raring to go after whatever he tosses into the pool, and then she shoots off with the big dogs toward the pool...but then stops on the ramp, turns around and goes back to Luke and looks up at him like, 'What's next?" 😍
Love seeing Cruiser keeping pretty calm with all the excitement going on around him. Those slomo sections are enthralling.
The wonderful diet you feed these dogs really makes a difference. Hope was once so thin but has now put on weight and looks so sleek and healthy. Knowing her backstory, I'm always cheering for Hope--and several others, too, such as Freddo. Miss Violet swims as if she has a propeller. You go, little girl! Love you all.
Freddo's paws on Sam's leg said it all - just ❤️ love! Love - that was all that is needed.

Watching the dogs in the pool is a favourite thing I love to see. Rover, with his high-flying tactics, makes me wonder if saw the athletic Sparty in action. Though I have to say watching Freddo enjoying himself so much in the water, I remember how absolutely terrified he was of water. Now look at him, a superfish. I don't think it will be long before Hope becomes a complete water baby either, seeing on the ramp so eagerly wanting to go after the big ball. Then Miss Violet proves to the world nothing is going to hold back from enjoying her life to the full. Beautiful video, thank you so much.

Lol..Abra still bites the water and hitches a ride on Luke's back🤩 I was cheering Hope to jump in...in good time. Beautiful to watch the slo-mo. Freddo forgot he's not a spring puppy anymore. Hope he's back to being himself soon after his laser sessions.
