Really wish they included the canyons and San Juan in the free roam map 😭 that’s what glitches are for though. But mannn imagine we got a game that connected MW and Carbon’s maps through the canyon

I remember playing this game non-stop, as a kid, it was almost always the same, come back from school, change clothes, and run downstairs to a 5 hours session of either carbon, battlefront II, or MK Armaggedon. I still have a folder with zipper, in there... oof... like a 100 cd's of PS2 with games like "Destroy all humans 2", PES and FIFA (from 06 to 13), Gran Turismo 4, Midnight Club 3, GTA's (3, SA, LCS). And 3 copies of my big three, bc I always managed to fck up the cd's by just playing too much. Brings back good memories...
This and MW 2005 was the best NFS games. Its still funny that you racked up at least 15-20M bounty in Rockport then when you left town it reduced to 150K

I don’t get why so many people didn’t like this game. This was my childhooddddd. Maybe we just had better imagination than older people playing it. I loved just driving around in free roam and doing mock stories in my head
This game has two major flaws. Once you destroy obstacle to stop police cars, you are often brought back to game right in front of spikes which you can't avoid and that roadblock was nowhere to be found. Second flaw is navigation system. It literary tells you where to turn in the middle of crossection at the speed of 200+ km/h. Other than that, good game.
One more thing, when you are surrounded by cops, the throttle seems to stop working, the engine stalls and you get busted although you had a pretty good chance of escaping.

Im doing that with NFSU2. An 18 year old game is still better than most of what comes out today. Cant beat a classic.
