Reminds me of the video of Rob Trujillo's audition with Metallica. Not just with the impression left on the band, but also specifically mentioning playing challenging songs fingerstyle. And if Fami hadn't played gallop before then, she must have played every other type of rhythm known to man.
This video gives creedence to Miho's awesome abilities. Fami is a brilliant finger player as well and the ladies made a wise pick with her because she's a workaholic... obvioulsy, and is not in the habit of dissapointing her band mates or the listeners.
“Judgement Day” album as a whole might be my favorite from LOVEBITES to date. And I thoroughly enjoy their entire discography. In regards to this new release, as much as I love the extreme thrash/punk vibe of “Dissonance”, it’s the aggressive epic Power Metal opener “We Are The Resurrection” that currently has my full attention today - especially with that catchy pre-chorus that showcases Asami’s vocal harmonies over the dark melodic chord changes. Awesome riffs in this song!!! My stand out favorite tracks in order are: 1) We Are The Resurrection 2) Dissonance 3) Stand and Deliver (Shoot ‘em Down) 4) Soldier Stands Solitarily 5) Judgement Day 6) Wicked Witch The rest are very good. But those 6 are the ones I’ll return to the most at this present time. I look forward to the Gaijin Guys individual reactions to the album.

at first I felt Aya visually and persona fit for Lovebites, I can imagine her having fun with Midori on the stage. She looks like typical metal bassist by visual and movement compared to Fami. Asami and Haruna are both around 4'10" or 4'9". Fami is the tallest and is at least 5'2" I think. But Fami also was wearing very high heeled boots that day, as you can see in the Bravehearted snippet video they released on the day they announced Fami's hiring.
Fifteen years old.....that was the moment M&M understood they were grannies. Even fami is an old woman. lol When they were reviewing Fami, they used a word "grain" in Japanese which is "tsubu" to say "each note". BTW, Champ has stopped reacting to Lovebites. I kind a miss you. There aren't many good reviewers on TH-cam.
The video is good, but the commentary is irrelevant and stupid. We can all see from the subtitles what they're saying and what's going on. And yes, if you audition and don't speak Japanese, it is obvious that communication won't be easy. Didn't really need that pointed out either.
