In order to find out how long the battery will last is to test it under a load. It will draw way more amps loaded vs just running it in open air. Try running it in a cooler of water. You'd have more accurate results that way compared to open air.
My t24 watersnake draws 2.25amps out of water on high speed, 20.2 amps on high speed in the water. I have also tuned it slightly not only for more speed, but i find the motor stays much cooler now too, and before tuning it drew 22amps, so not only faster, but cooler and more energy efficient. However testing it in open air would give absolutely no useful information im afraid.
@TH-camTravelerSoloVagabond i also noticed that if i put it in the water and hold it stationary, like in a pool or tub, it draws 24 amps, but when its on my kayak and im moving, it drops to 20 amps so theres a lot of variables i never expected either!

Yes exactly I did this. With a 12 amp h battery it lasted 60 to 90 min.
@@TH-camTravelerSoloVagabondwas that in low speed or hi soeed
@Lachies-Griggs hey slow speed but with no load.
High speed*
What was it with load?

yes you are right, other people have already advised me that running it out of water doesnt simulate real world condtions.

Hi like the video 👍🏻🌷🙋♀️💞👏👏
Hello 😊
24lb watersnake consumes about 20-25Ah in the water. Not sure what is the max draw Ah is from the battery but it will last about 15min in the water.
yes but thats high amps, slow can be 12
