In response to the other comment, I actually kind of like that the song doesn’t have a second verse or the usual verse/chorus format. The song just comes, says some things, and fades out, kind of existing outside of an established form, but doing it in a very compelling way. Just my take. Kind of surprised she thought it wasn’t good enough for the main album and only the deluxe version.
