The Daily Ketchup proving once again that they're the best talkshow in SG. It's so refreshing to see guests allowed to talk, raunchy jokes being delivered in an earnest way and respectful discourse by allowing someone to just explore their ideas. I look forward to every episode 💯
Just want to say I recently discovered this channel and the content has been super thought-provoking and insightful. While I don't always agree with the viewpoints expressed, it's great to have a local channel that is tackling these issues and giving a platform for diverse ideas to be showcased. Keep it up!
Love this podcast for it having such frank and open conversations often on touchy subjects. These two episodes with Father Terence is especially enjoyable as a non-catholic to be able to hear the POV of a priest on all the various sensitive topics, very thought-provoking and insightful. Would love to see more of such guest episodes and keep it up guys!
I enjoyed listening to this podcast, being a catholic myself, i always imaging priest as person who is stern and talking to them like friends is a no-no, or asking them certain questions are considered rude. this gives me a good insight how a good dialog w them can be and some perspective of catholic teaching without getting too serious or heavy to digest :)
i am a muslim and i really enjoyed this episode! and the previous one with the priest! very insightful. might be quite cool if you have a podcast with different religious leaders answering a same set of questions! maybe like just a 1 episode thing (i think if too many videos with religious influence might turn people off)
THIS WAS SO SO AWESOME!!! 100% my favourite episode, I love that you guys dont shy away from such topics and everyone is so professional (but humorous). This was fantastic keep it up and God bless all of you!!
(on the question of whether there are sins that are unforgivable) "Never say that God is just. If He were just you would be in hell. Rely only on His injustice which is mercy, love, and forgiveness." - St. Isaac the Syrian
This is by far the best ketchup episode. Nice to know more about the inner workings of the catholic church. Maybe can call a pastor but the pastor might try to convert the audience or collect funds ;)
Can we ask or invite Father about divorcees please? I know of 2 Catholic seniors whom were my catechist whom unfortunately got divorced. Unfortunately they both cannot be married in church again due to their 1st marriage.
The Church holds that marriage is an indissoluble bond. It’s once and for all. If a couple is married validly under the Church, they cannot get divorced. However, they can get civil divorce (aka separation). The Church still see the marriage as existing, and thus they cannot get remarried as the first marriage was still valid. However, if there is found some reasons that the first marriage was not valid, the Church may grant an annulment, meaning the first marriage was never valid to begin with. Thus, the people can get validly married (remarry) in the Church. This will still count as the first valid marriage, never to be undone. There is no such thing as a second marriage in the Church. Hope that helps.
As much as I like a chill vibe for discussion. Certain topics, it’s either you discuss seriously or you don’t even start. When you trivialize the answers when the priest tried to answer you to the best of his ability. It just demean the whole discussion, and belittle him. Hats off to the priest, it’s not easy to answer some questions without the context from the word of God.
Just saying, but lawyers can actually disclose to the police if they know that a crime or fraud has been committed AFTER they have been engaged as lawyers for their client. If the crime/fraud was committed before they were engaged, the client enjoys privilege generally, but not after.
Chastity cannot be seen only as the absence of sex (suppressing of a passion), but it is the Giving of yourself for a higher purpose, in this case, religious sisters or brothers serve the community. If you only focus on what you’re “deprived of”, rather than the potential you can do, you will certainly feel stifled.
Great episode! Request: episode on Muslim beliefs and teachings. Since you've done catholic and some buddhist/taoist beliefs already (the hungry ghost episode counts!).
Hi! Catholics are christians too. Under Christianity, there are lots of denominations. There’s Catholics, Baptists, Anglicans, Presbyterians, Adventist and alooooot more. That’s why there’s the term “protestants”. it’s basically those who are not Catholics. It’s Christians who doesn’t agree with the doctrines of the Catholic Church. You can google “ The Reformation “ God bless!
Good perspective from a priest. But it seems that every sentence he communicates is filtered twice to make sure it sounds politically correct. Unfortunate because it fits into the stereotype of a priest. I believe what the audience would have loved more is a candid & genuine side of him.

'... there are certain sins we don't mind having...' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like how the priest intentionally mispronounces siam diu just to make it extra clear that he has nothing to do with it
I recently found this channel and instantly love the content and everything!! So so good keep it up guys!! Shout out from Malaysia! :D
Thanks for the thought provoking show
Fact finding episode....well done...funny, witty , confessing and absorbing.
This is subconscious conversion

I really like this series. Could you also invite the other religious leaders as well?
Ha ha ha …when you get fired, you can join us…..brilliant!

I got to check with the insiders in my church now, cos Fr was attached to my church before his Ordination

Does the priest have Instagram or other socials? Need to follow. Haha

Love your content ! ✨
Wondering if we can have a discussion on marriage for couples with different religion

I always feel that too much abstinence, tends to have adverse opposite reaction.......according to Newton's theory. Latent energy needs an outlet.

You know not what you are uttering. I leave it to the Lord to handle you. The rest of you are just as silly.
