    Wow this is such a blessed occasion that you have Cardinal William Goh to your talk show. Cardinal is so relatable and so welcoming. Well done! This makes our Catholic religion so much more appealing to the non catholics. Love this EPIC episode ❤

    Such a nice & genuine conversation. May the Holy Spirit help us seek true happiness and joy which can only be satisfied by God through Jesus & his Church. We’re made for love and to love. Deeply grateful to be Catholics. Thank you Your Eminence & the team for a lovely talk

    Thank you Cardinal Goh for your very insightful explanations and philosophy about the Catholic Church. I hope non-catholics now have a better understanding of our religion.
    but also one question you should have include, is the growing misconception of non-catholics thinking we catholics worship and treat Mary as one of our gods too.
    Ps. we catholics dont worship Mary as a god but we pray through the INTERCESSION of Mary, with the help of MARY - by praying to Mary, the mother god, our prayers will be heard more.. Mary is also important in our catholic faith. (feel free to correct me if im wrong, brothers and sisters, thank you. god bless. )

    Greetings and many congratulations from Malaysia on your appointment to cardinal, Your Eminence. My family and I followed your weekly Sunday online mass via TH-cam during the covid lockdown. We enjoyed your weekly sermons as it was very in touch and applicable to our daily lives and activities. We miss attending your sermons. Take care, stay safe, and my family and I wish you further promotions in the near future, Your Eminence . Warmest regards, and May our Almighty Father continue to Guide and Bless you with His plans for you . 🙏 Amen🙏

    This episode (alongside the other episodes where religion is discussed) is incredibly eye-opening. Would appreciate it if TDK could feature other religions as well such as Hinduism and Sikhism to create more awareness and acceptance. Keep up the amazing podcasts! Thanks!

    This is so cool! Glad the discussion was civil and respectful on both sides!
    Usually when cardinals speak, they have to be very careful as people can twist their words [hence the stress]

    I liked how John deliberately interrupted Archbishop in a very soft tone to kind of calm him down when he was getting very passionate about being inspired by other religions, hallmarks of a really good podcast host

    Glad that my RICA instructor shared the link and encouraged us to watch this video to have a broader perspective and understanding of some of the topics discussed. To the producers, well done. Since you have done one interview with Cardinal William, and other series on Taoism and Islam, how about an interview with Kong Hee?

    Can tell Cardinal William felt so strongly when John talked about “isn’t it weird being in a room with people who subscribe to a god that is wrong?”
    This is why I have such a huge issue with Christians.
    As a catholic myself, I have never been taught this - John are you sure you’re Catholic?

    • @ww3032

      is a script la. he needs to ask that specific question to achieve a certain outcome for this interview

    • @sidewalkslam
      @sidewalkslam ปีที่แล้ว +3

      huh, it was obvious to me that he was asking the question because it is commonly know that there are indeed people of other religions who do think that people who subscribe to other gods (and not theirs) are wrong, not because he did not understand it. it was to get a discussion going.

    • @ChristianFuturist7
      @ChristianFuturist7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@sidewalkslam Catholic teaching says that only christians worship the one true God, however, other religions may have some truth or some semblance of that true God. He would agree that people who subscribe others are wrong and should find the religion that is the fullness of the truth however other religions may still have good things, they are just incomplete.
