Trivia: a man from the northern states brought several Armadillos from Texas, put them in a pen that had chicken wire sides, thinking tourists would stop and pay to see them. They naturally escaped, digging out, and are over running Florida to this day lol.

Pretty cool places. I miss our local Sweet Shop Donuts in Greenfield, Indiana, where I was born and raised.
I moved to Sarasota/Bradenton in 1984 and now live in Suwannee County, Florida.

My mind always trys to picture what it was like when people lived in or used it. Im thankful for my imagination. I can picture it like a movie in my head its so calming. I wish i could really go be a flynon the wall back then but i know thats not possible 😢
I love Webster and the surrounding back roads. It feels like time just moves a little slower around those parts. I used to drive up there to go to church with my Maw maw, and afterwards we would have lunch at that buffet restaurant until we were stuffed. We'd visit back at her house for a while after and, of course, she'd have to show me what all was new growing in her yard. She's now buried at that cemetery you filmed. I wish I could rewind the clock and relive one of those Sundays again.
Abandoned homesteads are always fascinating. My SIMS mind sees what once was & could be. Yes, u can tell that rooster with the beads partied hard cause the breasts were out! This Good Friday my dachshund had her 16th birthday 🎂 shout out 2 Bella, there's much ahead!!! As always thx 4 taking us all along on your adventure & Happy Easter 🐣 🐇⚘️🪻

What a shame that old house is so dilapidated. Thats a real deal mid century modern. Fixed up would be worth a fortune. Its architectural history.
I WORKED AT THE FLEA MARKET IT WAS MARKETED AS THE WORLDS LARGEST FLEA MARKET (IT WAS HUGE ) IN THE 80S AND FUN HA!!!!!

That cafe looks really cure. The donut looked huge or was it an illusion? I felt like it was bigger than your head in that one shot, lol. My son loves 🍩 and chicken tenders so I think we will add this to a list of stops next time we head that way. Thanks for sharing!

Hello from Gatlinburg TN Mr Jay! Do you remember Boardwalk and Baseball where the Royals trained outside of Haines city FL? This was in early 90s...I wonder what's there now ..it was a baseball themed Amusement park 🎢🏞️

Great video. Wife and I watched it this morning before going to Webster flea market. After the market we found the chicken and doughnut shop but it is closed on Mondays.
I used to drive through Webster on my way to Gainesville back in the day when I went to school there. Never stopped, but maybe I should go check it out.
I wish the developers would move there and stop encroaching on wild (wildlife) and old farm lands in Bradenton. Here's a whole town for transplants that could be developer.
I grew up in Land o Lakes graduated from high school used to be nice when there wasn’t much out there but as usual progress has made it worse

The area between Central and 1st was a railroad bed
You are correct the Seaboard Coastline Railway went threw there. A station was also along that street. Tracks were removed sometime in the 70's.
It is a shame about that home and all the graffiti on it no respect what a nice place it could have been
I like small towns and restaurants like that that was a big doughnut or maybe just had a small doughnut hole haha always interesting things on your videos hope you and Cris had a good good Friday and have a happy Easter!
