    No one should feel bad it is virtually impossible to get an A in this course while working full time having kids etc doing overtime to support self and family,try your best that’s all you can do.People who don’t work full time etc have the time to focus on this 100% and get an A or A+ not everyone has that opportunity or is lucky enough.Getting an A in the class doesn’t mean you will not suck as a nurse.Nursing is more than microbiology.

    How do you not get discouraged? I start the semester with a study plan and I have the best intention to learn but then get discouraged when I don’t retain the information or understand fully.

    • @SukainaAttar
      @SukainaAttar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +34

      I definitely get discouraged and many times think that I’m not capable of meeting my goals. It’s about understanding that everyone has a different journey so to not compare your success to someone else’s. It’s all mental, as long as you passed, you passed. Tell yourself that you can do it and that you believe in yourself. Jobs will not see what grades you got in each class. Just believe you can do it and celebrate every big and small win

      @SukainaAttar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      hi! What I advise would be to plan and organize your assignments for all classes and set a study schedule for them. I like to start each week by reviewing the syllabus for each class and taking note of everything due and any exams I have. I’ll assign work to certain days so it’s spaced out so there is no overlapping. With exams, I set a strict schedule and i study an even amount each day leading up to the exam until all the material is covered. As long as you schedule out your work days and study days you’ll be okay. Organization is key! Wish you all the best ✨

    • @microbiologyit

With exams, I set a strict schedule and i study an even amount each day leading up to the exam until all the material is covered. Try spacing out micro and A&P so you aren’t doing both on the same day, it’ll be overwhelming! Good luck ✨

    Do you read text book?

      I didn’t have a textbook for this class, my professor provided everything we needed to know in her PowerPoint slides and occasional readings. However, if you have a textbook for your class I would definitely recommend reading it!

    I just finished A&P 1, got an A in it. Which I worked hard to achieve. Taking microbiology next, how does that compare to A&P 1? Is it less difficult?

    • @SukainaAttar
      @SukainaAttar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      From personal experience, I found A&P to be more difficult than microbiology

      @@SukainaAttar Ok cool thanks. I was kind of thinking that's the case.

    What you think about me taking microbiology with my nursing fundamental class, plus math dosage

    • @SukainaAttar
      @SukainaAttar  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did not take my classes in that order so I’m not sure. Micro and fundamentals were in different semesters. I would suggest talking with your advisor to see what would work best!

    Hello, do they allow you to do the prerequisites in that college after admission or you need to have it before you are accepted? I trying to become an international student… the prerequisites are really confusing

      The college I’m attending requires it before being accepted to the nursing program.

    • @Lou-mw4hu
      @Lou-mw4hu 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From my experience, prerequisite means the coursework you have to complete BEFORE you’re “officially” doing the program. In some cases, if ur accepted to a university with the program that means ur doing the prerequisite courses usually in ur 1st and 2nd year. The last two years are more actually nursing and clinicals. If ur doing prerequisites at a college or other university before transferring then you have to complete those before you’re accepted into a nursing program. (In this method, u usually do prerequisites for 2 years, and then once u transfer the remaining coursework in the program is also another 2 years.) both ways it usually takes 4 years

      @Lou-mw4hu 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To clarify: the first method means that ur already accepted into the program, ur just spending more money to take those courses at a university.
