    The green stuff is like what you get with an aquarium pump. It'll expand when pumping a bit (not good for these types of pump) and eventually crack and fail (hazard). You want the rigid white stuff. 2mm ID/5mm OD along with black 3/16th fuel line and jubilee clamps for coupling it on.

    That black thing you put on the combustion air intake hose is actually a muffler, not an air filter. It is quite restrictive (you can find this out if you run your heater without it, then put it on and see the difference. You can hear the air whistle to get thru it. It needs more holes (about 3/8") drilled in it to be more free flowing so the fan won't labor to pull air in for one thing. And lining the inside with some kind of filtering cloth (I used charcoal cloth from a room air filter) will make a good air filter for the burn chamber.
    And replace the fuel line. It's garbage and is actually kinda dangerous!

    Is it waterproof, is there a way to make it easily waterproof ?

    • @JoesRigsandRepairs
      @JoesRigsandRepairs  ปีที่แล้ว

      A easy way to make it water proof would be to be a plastic container over it or laundry basket over it , or extend the controller and bring it inside to where it’s dry .

    Did you try plugging this to the jackery?

    • @JoesRigsandRepairs
      @JoesRigsandRepairs  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes , it trips it too many amps,
      Go on the ac circuit
      On Amazon they have a 110v to 12v adapter that you can get in 15amps or higher
      That will power it perfectly

    you need to alter a few things ,ie new fuel line ,, add a fuel filter ,angle the pump so no air bubbles , learn how to de coke it by running it flat out every now and then , use the right fuel to lube the pump , get the fan running at right speed ,, add more TITANIUM MANIFOLD GOLD EXHAUST HEAT WRAP to exhaust inside the box to make it safer ,you can find all this on you tube vids ,

    Another case of someone showing how to do the setup of a diesel heater when they don't have a clue how it works properly, your not the first and won't be the last I'm sure.

      Would love to educate myself more on how they work properly, links ?

      Well, I am in that camp as well. The instructions (or real lack of any) doesn’t help. For instance, does the exterior exhaust pie go over or into the exhaust pipe coming from the case?

    1 ) the fuel hose is not worth a fck
    2) use small p-clips for fule hose or small tabs with zip ties..
    3) find a better video this guy has no clue the exaust goes on the inside
    4) I can't take no more of this please please please don't update us
