  • I was inspired to make this tutorial after someone asked me what home business she can do since she does not have an oven. I then remembered a pang negosyo class that I did many years ago on cooking peanuts. Today I am featuring the recipes from that class but I have revised and improved them. I am sharing with you more fun, delicious and easy peanut recipes and also giving you more ideas on how to how to create new products. The nice thing about these recipes is that you do not need to buy any new tools of equipment. You can use what you already have in your kitchen. I hope you will give this a try. Enjoy!
    Chef's Notes:
    1.) The first step in the Adobo Peanuts recipe is to blanch the peanuts for 1 minute. You can omit this step but from experience, I have learned that this one, simple step will make a lot of difference in ensuring that your peanuts are and will stay crispy for a longer time.
    2.) You can use either brown or white sugar for the peanut brittle. I showed you both. For the peanut brittle, you can use either whole or crushed peanuts. I also showed you both ways.
    3.) For the sugar coated peanuts, feel free to try other variants. Just remember to add the variant ingredient when the sugar crystallizes so that when the sugar melts and caramelizes, the variant ingredient will stick to the peanuts.

      Yes you can use peanuts without the skin for the classic sugar coated peanuts but they tell me that the one with the skin is more delicious. Thank you for trying out my recipe. Am so happy to know that you liked it. Thank you for watching.

    whats the purpose of the glucose syrup ?

    • @ChefRoseofCaroandMarieCebu
      @ChefRoseofCaroandMarieCebu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As an invert sugar so the syrup will not crystallize. You can replace with light corn syrup. Thank you for watching.
