    85% of the gold from 1000 lbs of dirt or….
    95% from 500 lbs of dirt
    Thats a no brainer 👍🏻✅

    I use the same setup. When the waters moving fast, the screen works best. It slows down the water under it, holding your fine gold. I have the combo dream mat though! ✨️⛏️💪🏻👍🏻 You're are going to lose gold, no system will catch it all... 🤷🏻 especially the micros. Great work brothers! Man that's an awesome clean up! 👏🏻

    Great showing there Kris. And screw those nay sayers that say you have to classify to sluice. It all works just have to play with the angle some.

    That's a good take. Seems like the classifier screen sits higher so there is less flow to clear out the rocks. The rocks clear in those dream mat pretty good unclasified usually. I do wonder about the slope on your box, but you caught that shiny so cheers! Kelly

    Have you ever followed that river upstream or checked any USGS for gold load outcroppings? The closer you get the bigger the nugs.

    • @buffalokrisgoldprospecting
      @buffalokrisgoldprospecting  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sir I followed the river up numerous numerous times there is some better spots upstream but in high water I was kind of limited to 1 spot but way up stream is where the real chunky gold is and that's all claimed so I don't have access to it

  • @hoborobprospecting
    @hoborobprospecting 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    That screen loves high water flow to work as designed. It works good with lower flow but requires big rocks to be either picked out or scraped down the sluice as you go. I use the aggressive carpet/miracle mat/carpet from Keene in my box. I have not found gold in my bottom carpet...YET. I think your issue with the bottom of box loading up is the screen is designed to slow the flow under it, and the dream mat likes faster water. Maybe play with the pitch a little.

      @@buffalokrisgoldprospecting I'm going do a little vid my first trip out this spring , whenever the temperature gets the word that spring is here in Ohio, and show how I run my screen. Like most things I do, its really stupid simple lol. I just prop it onto the homemade legs over the intake at an angle down away from the box, all the gravel and cobble that stays on the screen I brush off or toss around the intake on eitherside of it , this creates a tighter dam around the inlet. Works really well and because I'm running V mat it keeps the bigger rocks from knocking Ohio fly poop speck gold out. Not really a problem with the mats your running tho.
      I'll tag you in when I do it.
      Cheers!
