It’s actually wasn’t written about girl, Eli during lockdown watched a documentary about Incels and people with extremist ideology and got inspiration about a character who feels that sort of way. It’s why it’s one of my fav songs too see being performed

Wish I had a recording of U2 at Headliners in 1980. Seats with tables. First of many u2. I probably won't ever get tickets to these guys. So glad I saw this. Anyway. Love these guys.
